Strong Woman

You are a strong woman;
The one who feels deeply
The one who loves fiercely
Your tears flow abundantly
Just like your laughter

A strong woman
Both soft and powerful
Both practical and spiritual
Both lovely and careful
Both incredible and adorable

A strong woman
In your essence
A gift to the whole world
Happy women’s day

The Promised Land

I have taken so far a long walk,
I have listened and let them talk.
They think it is simple as scattering a flock
Or like eating food with a folk.

Yet! They forget this is a marathon,
It's not a Bolt's kind of champion.
It's keeping going on, and on and on
Letting the critics and so pundits into confabulation.

Desire keeps me going,
Vision keeps me dreaming,
Hope keeps me toiling,
Faith keeps me not whining.

I will not grumble,
I will not bellow,
Yahweh is taking the lead,
I will reach the Promised Land.

A Letter To Mr Stomach

Dear Mr. Stomach
I am writing to let you know you give me headache.
I have fed you in bulk,
But you never get full you are like 1 million water tank.

The ancestors craved and never satisfied theirs,
They went, still fighting for others,
Hoping more will fill you Mr Chunners,
In vein, it all came back to zeroes.

You are now disturbing me,
Hoping that I will comply to thee,
struggle and toil like a honey bee,
For bread and butter for you sweetie.

I am writing to let you know,
That you need to adhere to economic situations,
Mr. Money is on high demand
So you need to cut the budget too.

I hope you will reply sooner,
As the time is quite shorter.
Or else you will be forced to get smaller
In order to meet other financial endeavors.

On 14th Feb

ON 14TH FEB

I don’t know what I am writing
I felt I had to write something
All I know is that I LOVE YOU
Even though my words cannot express it enough

On a day like this
I want to let you know I LOVE YOU
Not only today but always
I always will love you

The Call

I thought I was dreaming,
I tried to run, to run so far away.
I doubted, and never believed
That it was me being called.
Being called for this task so noble,
The task, so hard and sweet,
Challenging and changing lives, mine and others forever.

The call, I heard it so clear,
So loud like a megaphone,
It echoed in my ears,
I pretended not to hear,
But still I could not run away.
I had to stop glance and glare,
Looked at it, and shied away.
The task never disappeared, it stayed,
I gathered myself,
With all my weakness and strength,
I leaned on God,
And I said, “	Here I am”,
Use me, my weakness and strength,
I believe my weakness plus Your might
It’s possible

Now I am astonished,
I seek how and where to serve,
You have brought unexpected zeal,
I pray God, you give me
Wisdom as well.
Because zeal without wisdom is dangerous.
The call has challenged me.
Opened my eyes, to be part of your work,
An agent for change,
A person of impact,
A human of significance.

Don’t live me behind,
You gave me a chance,
Allow me answer the call,
Hold me up not to fall.

I know there are challenges,
I know there are disappointments,
I know there are turbulences.
But, there is a clear destiny,
The end so clear,
The end so awesome.
Help me not to give up.

I don’t want to live, just to live,
For I know, I will fade away, at some point,
Let me burn out for You,
Answering the call,
The change, the cell to transform,
The call of impact and change
The call of growth and development.

Let me dream high,
Because you are limitless, and everlasting.
Let me pin up and put up this life,
For a life of change and changing others,
I pledge my allegiance to you.
Iam answering the call,
Saying YES, YES, and YES

I know you have given me life,
Education, influence, and presence.
I have them, but for what Lord?
Direct me on how to use it,
Help me answer the call.
I don’t want to be challenged
And not changed.
Change me too.
Help me redeem time,
Time, so that I will answer the CALL.
Fulfill the promise
For purpose of my life.

You Cant Say You Cant

YOU CAN’T SAY YOU CAN’T

You can’t lose what you don’t have
You can’t be hurt by what you don’t love
You can’t give what you don’t have

You can’t say you can’t
In success, there is no can’ts
Only cans, and no can’t

If you say you can’t
You are right
If you say you can
You are also right

Have Courage

Edison tried hundreds of experiments before inventing a light bulb
A baby falls a thousand times before he learns to walk
All successful people have failed a countless of times, before becoming successful.

SO HAVE COURAGE

Never say you can’t do it right,
Never say never because you know you can do it
Never give up in challenges, decide to move up
Never say later for something you can do now
Never let people bring you down, they will always be pleased to see you fall
So keep your head high, your heart strong, closer to God, with Him you can never go wrong.

Lessons From Mandela

The beautiful ones are not yet born?
At least I know some who are dead.
We have just lost one!
Mandela Madiba of Republic of South Africa.

You African Leaders,
And aspiring ones,
What have you learnt from him?
For he never gummed on power he fought for.

You say you are irreplaceable
You are experienced and unchangeable,
You can fight, you are indomitable,
But I can tell you, you are wrong - unable.

Man should be different,
Learning from his mistakes and others.
If not then, what difference does he make?
Its high time you changed your attitude.

For You My Love

At the mention of your name I smile
Smiles just can’t stop; they come long like a mile

I feel warm inside, like a domicile
Forgetting everything, just for a while

I wonder why you occupy much I think about
Even when you are not in my sight
You are in my every thought
Always, day and night

He Loves You

You may not see this vividly,
But God loves you greatly.
He cares for you especially,
His son, in Him there is a way.

Your burdens to Him cast,
Your sins to Him carried
Your worries in Him burst
Your fears and cares, in Him carried

He makes you a winner
He delivers you from being a sinner
He uses you from every corner
He cares for you in your endeavor.

He will never leave you nor forsake you
He knew you; He has a good plan for you,
He is merciful and He loves you
He is always there, He adores you.
