Bob's Little Misty

A neighbor was on his way to Corpus Christi,
He saw a little girl who is Bob's little Misty.
You know me I am your neighbor down the street,
Come with me and we'll get a bite to eat.
I won't hurt you so please come with me,
And we will get to mommy you will see.
So toward home they surely did go,
They traveled pass her home you know.
She knows trouble is just ahead,
His mercy she began to search she said.
The man had no mercy in sight,
All she could do was scream and bite.
She open the door and ran screaming the word "stranger",
She hoped someone would hear and know there is danger.
Bob's little Misty knew to run as fast as she can,
And always tell daddy or mommy before getting in a car, truck, or van.

Life With a Breeze

When I accept things as they come
And add up the cost to get the sum
Let down my hair and forget what was done
Then I will begin to have lots of fun
Instead of a frown I begin with a smile
Walk in someone's shoes more than a mile
Now I take time to look up at the trees
This I know is life with a breeze.

So when the bills begin to arrive
I will learn how to take five
Fix what I can change
And look at the rest at close range
Accept the other without worry
And now walk away in a hurry
This is how I will find all the keys
To accepting life as a breeze

Accepting life as it comes
Can't be compared to the mums
Acceptance helps to tame the beast
And makes me happy at least
I must give a smile to get one back
There's now no excess luggage to unpack
I'm no longer in a squeeze
This is how my life became a breeze

My Thoughts They Say

Many times I feel pressed,
Thoughts tell me I am blessed.
In the mist of trial and test,
They say I know what is best.
Always do what is right,
Never look for a fight.
And to my thoughts I can say,
I can remember this day.

Now when I am pressed,
I know that I am blessed.
When trials and test are long,
I now sing a new song,
Not looking to the left or the right,
Because freedom is now in sight.
So to my thoughts I can say,
You have helped me on my way.

Thank you for the freedom I feel,
I know you and I can make a deal.
When I feel low and pressed,
We must stay breast to breast.
When trial and test are at their best,
I'll remember it is only a test.
And to my thoughts I can say,
My friend you will be all the way.
