Love is a feeling that makes you feel whole
A feeling of being needed, that stems from the depth of your soul
It heals the wounds of life, that has left behind scars
It's a road of excitment, leading you down different paths.
To find yourself smiling, for no special reason
The comfort of someones arms, through every change, of every season
The goosebumps on your skin, from the softest kiss
To be told that your loved, is just pure bliss.
It's the simple thing of giving, the selfless act of sharing
The trust, honestly, the heartfelt caring
It's that feeling you get when your .."coming home"
Knowing you never have to face this world alone.
If only I could bottle it, for you I would capture
The mean ing of ' Love'...such beautiful rapture
Those three little words so special so true
Those three little words..." I Love You!..

We treasure the memories, even the broken heart
The feeling of sadness, when we were apart
The smell of your skin, that taste of your kiss
Everything about you, that I will miss.
The walks along the beach, the heat of the sun
Upon our bodies, entwined as one
The goosebumps on my skin, from the softest touch
Never dreaming that it would hurt this much.
But in losing one, I have gained another
A stronger love , unlike no other
He has picked up the pieces of my broken heart
And holds it in his hands, when we are apart.
There is new love, if we let it in
New memories to make, new life to begin
So I close the door to the life that has past
A future awaits me now, to a love that will last.
