To Learn, Or Not To Learn......Don'T Question It.

Experience has taught me, alot I can say,
My past has cost me, every minute I pay.
Lessons of life, I was sent to seek,
Some made me strong, others left me weak.
Whether good or bad, business or pleasure,
The knowledge I have, I've learned to treasure.
My mind has grown, my heart has wept,
It must not be forgotten, but always be kept.
Everything in life, is a game we all play,
Betting on every turn, will we hit or stay.
A custom to losing, only one winning streak,
The odds in my favor, I'm the #1 freak.
Is it worth all the pain, we have to endure,
Is the joy we have, enough to even measure.

Nature

Life is like a flower, delicate and fraile,
Showing many colors, but often looking pale.
It's fragile stems, linger all about,
Hoping like it's roots, love will sprout.
Blossoming in the morning, by the suns golden ray,
Opening to the danger, to make it through the day.

Power

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your existence is not whole for me, only the parts I choose to see of you,
and you choose to show me.
The rest of my knowledge of you,
is only words,
shaped by my mind to surround you.
And actions,
tinted by my thoughts,
to paint you a color that suits me.
You are not you to me,
you are a product,
of my interpretations of you.
I have taken you,
and placed you in my world,
with my patterns.
In order to deal with our differences,
I pretend that we are basically alike,
when there is no common ground between us.
And all thoughts we share,
were reached by such different paths,
that they are really not at all alike.
But still I change you to fit me,
and say we have things in common,
in a game for my benefit and yours.

Not Just

Not intentionally, Just possibilities,
Not a lost, Just a necessity.
Not a mistake, Just a correction,
Not a path, Just a direction.
Not a fall, Just a slip,
Not a point, Just a tip.
Not a problem, Just a challenge,
Not to struggle, Just to manage.
Not forever, Just awhile,
Not accepting, Just denial.
Not in hiding, Just in fear,
Not in society, Just in here.
Not in thought, Just in love,
Not in behind, Just in above.
Not in view, Just in make,
Not in revenge, Just in ache.
Not in greed, J ust in fair,
Not in whole, Just in share.
Not to keep, Just to lend,
Not to scar, Just to mend.
