Fly Away

Wish I could fly away, far away.
Away from this cruel world.
World of hate, pian, and sin.
Away from the painful beatings.
Recieved by an abusive and drunk father.
Away from the lies and heartbreak.
Produced by a cheating girlfriend.
Gazing upon the sky through battered eyes.
I'm wishing I had more faith.
Faith that God will one day bless me.
Thinking, I wish i could fly, I wish...

A Womans Worth

Time after time i've watched you.
Seen you walk pass her, smiling.
Making false promises to her.

Time after time i've watched her.
Cleaning, cooking, and running your bath.
Hoping to recieve what you promised.

Time after time i've watched you.
One Sunday you proclaim your christianity,.
Praying, thanking God for what you have.

Time after time i've watched her.
Lay on her bed, wishing , and hoping for it.
Something she needs, had always wanted.

Time after time he has lied to you.
Shouldn't she have what she need or wants?
Shouldn't she get nice things?
Don't you know this woman's worth?

Farmers Life

Everyday my father got up early
And put wood in the fireplace
With frozen fingers that bleed
From labor in the hayfield the day before
Caused by the white cold weather.

I'd walk and see my white cold breath brisk
When i breathe out the cold air
Slowly i rise and dress
Fearing the pain staking task of the pasture
Walking outdoors ready to commence another cold day of farming.

After long hours dad and i would come indoors
Smelling the wonderful aroma of cooked food
By my mom, dad's loving wife smiling at us
WIth golden brown bisuits, sweeten white rice
And tender hot steaks for dinner tonight.

Bathtime

Playing outdoors is so much fun, so much,
dirty fun.
PAT, PAT!!
She see me, she is coming.
THUMP, THUMP!!
Off to the room, with hollow bed and shiny
knobs.
WREEK, WREEK!!
Liquid gushing out, filling the hollow
space.
SHHHSSSHH!!!!!
Stepping into the liquid, one leg at a time.
BLUP, BLUP!!
Grabbing the man, the duck.
Playing inside is so much fun, so much
clean fun.
SPLISH, SPLASH!!

Sunset

Precious, Isn't it, the way
the dark blue clouds, cover the
ever so bright rays of the
golden sun. How light just
barely protrude threw the tight
corners of the now, bright blue
sky. Yes, this be the perfect
occasion for me to embrace your
warm, tender touch, to feel your
lips embraced rightfully upon mine
in sweet harmony, saying words
that heightens your every sense.
While holding hands during this
beautiful sunset.
