My Christmas Prayer To Momma

I remember been ten years old daddy and I kneeling beside my bed, saying a Christmas prayer to you. He said "your momma is with Jesus now", and I know you're going to miss her. But always remember in in your heart and you will never be apart.
I'm sending this Christmas Prayer to you; to let you know I still thinking of you, and I always hold the memories in my heart. That's why I'm sending this Christmas Prayer to you.
I'm twenty nine now and I still kneel beside my bed to say my Christmas Prayer to you. Momma, I wish you were here to help my kids and I trim the tree, it was so much fun trying to guess what Santa bring and eaten candy from the stocking we so carefully hung.
I'm sending this Christmas Prayer to you; to let you know I still thinking of you, and I always hold the memories in my heart; that why momma I'm sending this Christmas Prayer to you. "Merry Christmas Momma" "I always love you".

I Made It On My Own

You left me out here standing in this cold cruel world alone, with three kids, no money not a soul to rely on. I might be down and out and flat broke, but I'm a strong willing woman you'll see, the final chapter of this book has yet to be written down: for the first time in my life, I have my feet planted on the ground.

We have clothes on our back and food in our bellies, a roof over our heads. I told you from the start I was strong, I didn't nee a man I'd make it on my own, hey look at me now, I've made it on my own.

We made it on our own cause our momma she was strong. She started with nothing, but she made us a home. When we asked about daddy," she replied", he left us with no one to rely on except our self. Remember these words long after I'm gone.

Never give up and hold on to your dreams; do for others before you do for you. The reward you'll receive you can't spend; it's the feeling of peace because our momma she taught use to be strong and because we made it all on our own.

Dont Say Ever Darling

When I wake up in the morning with your thoughts running through my head. Instead of a good morning or a kiss. I get a hello and a good bye. Your phony excuses are getting harder to believe. So don't say ever darling cause you're not fooling me.
When you greet me in the evening with a big smile on your face. The things you over looked is my loss and your mistake. So don't say ever darling cause you're not fooling me.
So don't say ever darling;Do I make myself clear, it's not in my vocabulary and it's not what I wanted to hear. So don't say ever darling cause you're not fooling me.
