The Desires of a Loving Heart

To see you the way I do,
When my eyes are closed.
To hold your hand firm and strong,
when my heart is wet with tears.

To see you alive always...
the way you are in my prayers,
to whisper in your ears..
my deepest of fears.

To never to be scared,
of having to be far.
For forever to be sure,
that we will stay the way we are...

To be knowing that in this life,
I'd never have to say goodbye...
To know every morning..
That I'd get to see you smile.

I have a very small wish,
The only 1 in my loving heart,
I want us to always be this way..
I never wish to part.

Because

Your love is liberating
And I know it is true
‘Coz I love you since….
I didn’t know what it was meant to do.

More than words…
Is how much you care
You make it real
So you don’t have to share.

You don’t have to say it
‘Coz I already know
I feel it in your gestures
Rest you don’t need to show.

Your hands always reach me
Touch me and hold me close
In a way that I know
You won’t ever let me go.

Your love… is immense
It balances when I am shaky
You help me find the real me…
When my heart is achy.

I love you just the same
From the time I was nine
Your love I feel form INSIDE
I love you coz you say…
‘You’d walk a 1000 miles’

‘Coz you asked me I would tell you…
You are different that’s just the case
The world makes no difference
In my heart is your place.

Let Me Go

Don’t hold me
By these bonds of the heart
I am not meant for such emotions
I was born to lead a free life
With no restrictions and disciplines
I am not one like you
My spirit is not tied
It is not like a bird
That stays close to its nest
It is like the air
Liberated; with no stress of directions
With no shackles holding it back
 Just let me go
I won’t turn around
So don’t call me
I won’t stop
So don’t love me
Don’t hold me back…
I am self-determined
I am independent
I fear no detachments
Except for just 2 things
No matter what… they stay deep inside
So bother me not
I am arrogant
I am me – self-sufficient.

A Call

Lost my inspiration
Or that string in my heart
The nerve that carries passion
Is frozen or maybe paralyzed
I am waiting for my feelings
To pour back into me
And force me to be ignited again
This way I don’t want to be
From colossal to colour less
Affection suffocates me
Loneliness seems dear
Silence induces me
Tempted by aggression
Irritated extremely
The pumping machine seems
Cold and beefy
I see all black and white
Where once I was dreamy
It’s a desperate call
Before the lights fade and become blurry
Come to me now
Let me be like the old me.
