Twinomugisha Longinus Poem
To prove human
Just a greeting could suffice,
To exhibit solicitude,
Especially when we meet first time,
And none of us is courteous.
To show humanity,
There need be charity,amity,
And not animosity.
For amongst us,
Supremacy and pomposity,
Seem to create a rift.
To whosoever; formal or not,
From East or West,
richly bestowed or unfortunate,
Generosity reigns extant and supreme.

Twinomugisha Longinus Poem
Life goes on
The love we have for our beloved,
Is like a fountain
That never dries up,
And doesn't cease flowing
In our veins.
But even if I go,
You spare a thought for the one in need,
For life goes on.
My legacy will soon supplant me.
Tears will roll down their cheeks
As they wail and shriek in sadness for my trip,
To where our ancestors are,
Resting in perpetual peace.
But I know one thing,
come the day;
We shall all parade before Him that scans
And kneel in supplication
With saint Longinus.

Twinomugisha Longinus Poem
THE PASTOR'S PAST
Just when we met
I recollected that moment in time
When my work was to stomach
Secret missions for the haves
And I, the have not
Would be sent on erotic errands
For the Bosses to have a change
In their daily bed menu
And I would keep mum to save
The fights mamas would put up at home
In case they smelled a rat.
If not the strange fragrances!
This could halt my earnings,
Only to sleep on an empty stomach,
But apparently,
There are lots of meal offers,
For I tend God’s flock.
Just when we met
I realised,
That we should always
Save a thought for people who are
Enduring what we look at now as our past.
That sorry sight of a pauper
I have seen in the city centre
This afternoon,
Took me back to the Egypt of my life
When life was concrete
And the world like an aperture.
