Kessie Justice Amenyo Poem
THE WIDOW'S
LAUGHTER
Having the troubled sea
Run down your cheeks.
Having the thunder
claps
Deepening your
countenance.
The laughter of a widow
In the storms of
transition.
Having the tides of the
sea
Stripping the shores wet
And the raindrops of
tears
That sprang the dirge
On the dancefloor of
sorrow.
In the sunset,
The mind's not at rest
But the unforgettable
memories
Hitting the screen of
the mind
With a soft dirge in
sorrow
Till all go hide.

Kessie Justice Amenyo Poem
NIGHT AND RAIN
Up there in the sky,
Holding on, on so high..
Where the banana
shines and shies,
Smiling night after night
Giving ur light.
In the sad cloud,
Where tears are formed
And the thunder laugh
out loud.
In bits and drops, it falls.
Then in the morning
lights,
Where the dropped
tears
Marked mud against
The face of the earth.
Then children hopscotch
On the playground of
thrills.

Kessie Justice Amenyo Poem
THE POOR MAN'S HOME
In a Poor Man's home
There is no wish
Not even on your dish;
No choice, but not boresome.
In a Poor Man's home,
Nothing is found on a silver platter;
Not even on a clay platter;
No rejoice, but not toilsome.
In a Poor Man's home
You can't pay your fees
Not even on your knees;
No voice, but in all, its awesome.
But tho' it seems today bitter
It'll be tomorrow sweeter.

Kessie Justice Amenyo Poem
IRRESPONSIBLE ENEMY
When our tears drop
and stench fire around
us,
And fire's enemy
becomes otiose and
nugatory,
Then shall tears
backfire fire's enemy
And after a very scorch
sunshine
Telling ur the end of
those former days.
Then shall our eyelids
close in sorrow
But tears have wiped
away our sorrows
And our lions roaring in
joy
Marking the start of
new days
And the end to the
palsy-walsy.

Kessie Justice Amenyo Poem
DAMASCUS
Your opinion palpitates
on and off.
Riding on the horse of
pride,
You stumble across
your soul.
Ignorant about the
chaplet of pride,
Creampuff due to horse
pleasure
You ditto to continue.
Angels are in
accordance
Whilst you ride on the
horse of pride
On the road to
Damascus.
A great voice descends
on you
In the chambers of your
memory.
The tempest washes
your opinion away.
Even though you are
power drunk
And you are pride drunk,
Kiss goodbye to your
opinion,
Set out of your
opinion's hair
And dive into a
humble opinion
As you have more than
one
String on your bow.

Kessie Justice Amenyo Poem
WICKED DEATH
Death summons people
to his house everyday.
The house of no return.
As we gnash our teeth
in pain,
The wicked palace
gates are closed.
Your road is fork in
nature
But a common goal is
achieved.
Your monopolistic
powers are great and
shadowy.
You are really inimical
and infanticide.
Your ineluctable and
infradiablenctusf is bad.
You are inhumane and
disappointing
And your actions are
also fait accompli.
I lm thirsty for the key
to your palace,
The keys hidden in the
seventh chamber of the
spirits
And enslave your
haven permanently
And eavesdrop your
conversation with the
spirit
And engulf your palace
with immortal ice.

BETTER GHANA WITH
N.D.C
Better Ghana Agenda.
Victory colors hover
around
The National
Democratic Congress.
The muddled opponents
Still addled at his
position.
Better Ghana Agenda.
The green, greener
stature,
The white self help
nurture
And the red striving
nature
Unveiling the black
veiled
Better Ghana Agenda.
Let us vote for Pres.
Dramani
With his experts on the
fields
For their fierce burning
zeal.
Better Ghana with N.DC.
Unity, Stability and
Development.

Kessie Justice Amenyo Poem
ATTRIBUTES OF AFRICA
Africa and Africans.
The continent and her
inhabitants.
Rich in like cultures
And full of African
hospitality.
I'm a proud African.
At the East,
The flag of peace
Is mounted on the
peaks.
Then to the West
Is the African breast
That nurtures the sea
beds.
At her horn,
The call of African Union
And summit is heard
and held,
And the North,
Where the dear milks
Are found and drilled.
Then in the hearts of
Africa
Is the Nile in veins-
conduit
And the bare-chested
grounds
Of the desert and sand
dunes.
In the South lands
Is the rib-cage
Of precious metals
And culturally
conurbates
With all its islands.
I'm a proud African.

Kessie Justice Amenyo Poem
FIG LEAF
Coat of skin for fig leaf.
Burying yourself under
fig leaves.
Yet you flash us
With a toothless smile.
But its enshrouded parts
I see.
When the Almighty
Pulls the plug of mercy
And spill the beans of
curse,
You now bury your act
Under your pillow of rest
And face the running
storm.
The best for bane,
A friend for fiend.
Coat of skin for fig
leaves:
Your evil choices.
Yet you turn blind eyes
on your choices
And continue in your act
Leading you to the fiery
pit.

Kessie Justice Amenyo Poem
THE POTTER'S POT
The Potter's pot
Walks down the valley
In the woods
Of the forest of life.
Protected by its shed
On the path to the
riverside.
The labyrinth forest,
Broken pot?
Lost in the forest?
The stones of the forest
And the footstep of
others
Marked against the
walls of the path.
Weighed and found
weightless,
Weighed and found
wanting
Bt the riverside.
Back against the hills,
Weary in the forest and
thirsty
On the path to the
Potter.
No water to quench
thirst.
The wayfarer.
Now the Potter
Weighs the pot
And found it worthless.
He repairs the broken
And gives map to the
lost.
Pay heed, his next
command
And fill your pot to
overflow.
The Potter's pot.
