Midsummer Warning

August is sunburn and moonlight
August's a menace to men.
When the casual canoer discovers l'amour,
August has done it again.

August is moonlight and sunburn,
When the bachelor sows as he reaps.
His sunburn just might finally unburn,
But he's burned in the moonlight for keeps.

A Maidens Tears

The swift hoofbeats of the pale horse.
The heavy breathing of it's Rider.
The rushing breeze carries them onward,
Ever closer,
To the battle.

The shimmering of the maidens dress.
The menacing blade of Evil's dark sword.
The crack of wood as the Rider enters,
To rescue and save,
His lady.

The blade to blade and eye to eye
Dark Evil and great Rider fight.
A desperate swing, when blade meets flesh,
The Rider falls,
First blood is drawn.

The maiden's scream with Evil's laugh
Ring in the hall as a sound of doom.
The Rider rises and releases his knife,
Destroying the heart,
Of Evil.

The maiden's tears on the Rider's wound
Drive th pain from his burning skin.
The lovers embrace, oh union sweet.
He loves and carries her
Home.

Aphrodite

Beauty, Elegance, Grace,
Love, Radiance, Deception.
Feeding on the emotions
of desperate, innocent men.

Using seduction as a tool
Clouding men's minds
Enforcing rules of Passion
Jealousy, Hate, Rage.

Kidnapping, War, Murder,
Riches, Jewels, Gold.
Her beauty lies to all
of what truly lies inside.

Causing men to act cruelly
Deaths increase around her.
Arrows into the heart,
Apples made of gold.

The depths of pain and suffering.
The sorrow of lost loved ones.
Sending old lovers down,
To wallow in their own misery,
Forever.
