Heart To Heart

When my eyes are closed,I see your elegance
Possessing handful of enviable radiance
On the mountain top, I view you
Holding you is what I can't hesitate to do
Spark of joy in my heart at the beach shore
That is why I say I need some more
Every man wants you on twitter
But you say no;not even later
Our love I secure with a barbwire
Because it is only you I admire
Jewel fairer than words of wonderous virtue
Every sculptor wants to have your statue
Girl you are my hope in the wilderness of shame
The candle that produce nice blue flame
I promise to make you warm in my arm
Cos a thousand mile you are far from harm.

Wonders of Mama

My mouth cant be sealed
About the wonders of mama
I lived in her world(womb) for 9months
And there came a time for me to see a wider world.
Ah!it cost a cupful of pain
But no glimmer of hesitation came from her
Now,I am in the wider world
She gives me all the kingly outlook
When I cry,She is restless
When I smile,her face glitters
Without me,her world is gloomy
I look around
And see huge fence of Love
Love that can't be quantified
What can I Say
But to echo the wonders of mama

Dawn Like Never Before

DAWN LIKE NEVER BEFORE

As I gripped my pen to write
Tears trickled down my cheeks in delight
There is a man with a conscience
As systematic as science
His voice rang clearly as the sound of a gong
And his lyrics as soft as love song
The strive began twelve-years ago
Along an irresistible tempest blow
Stumbled but never fell flat
To the scary screeching of the bat
Crawling through the long and dark tunnel
And hope was his only gel
When tears rolled down his steep face
It flowed to God's corridor and begot grace
Suddenly light glistened at the tunnel end
And happiness thickened and refused to bend
Contorted twists hurriedly ran
And gentle breeze was felt from the fan
I saw the dove coo and the falcons chant
Even naked democracy wore a green pant
Then minds ran faster than Hussein Bolt
Without intimidation of the thunderbolt
Vibration of victory felt in the earth crust
Without a sinister of any outburst
This is no less an important water shed
So no more tears to shed
There is a great lesson to be learnt here
Ears open and hear me everywhere
Never toy with the immutable and supreme being
That's what I told adherents of dry gin

This poem is dedicated to General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.) Who won the Nigerian presidential election few days ago. This poem shows his strive, victory, relief, and lessons.

Devil's Niche

I congratulate you fervently
For belonging to where you are continously
Your dance goes zig-zag
Always looking good in rag

Your kingdom is in hell
There,your royal seat dwell
You were called angel lucifar
Disobedience drew you from heaven afar

What can I do but detest you
Trample your head;exactly what I will do
Always taking pleasure in sucking
I vow to engage you in boxing

Light and darkness can't tango
So leave my people and just go
With you,there is wallowing boredom
And without you, there is enviable freedom

God is a giver of soft pillow
But you are a giver of striking sorrow
You have a head but it look like bull
Wait a minute;you must be a fool

The Struggle of Ohiku

From the ancient to the modern
Our spirit remain stern
We stood tall in the midst of our culture
Not minding the level of torture
Our blood went for it
And our body dumped in the pit
The value of our people must not be undermined
They must not be disvirgined
The moon knows we are not joking
And the sun knows we are not poking
We the Ancestors died many years ago
So that progeny may grow
What holds a great deal of value
Is the struggle of Ohiku
