I Wonder

Long kinky hair
Caramel, buttermilk, or gravy colored skin
So tall

Rumor Has It

Rumor has it..........
that he's broke.
His wife is selling coke
to keep her family afloat.
Hearing the news,
momma had a stroke.
In a pool of her own tears,
she must soak.
There kids don't listen.
Did I forget to mention?
She is pregnant by someone else.
How he must have felt?
Oh my goodness he grabbed his belt.
Got to deal with the cards
he has been dealt.

Rumor has it....
She gave him the package.
He is a serial killer.
Something out of a thriller.
Because of her he hates every woman on Earth.
Even the woman responsible for his birth.

Rumor has it.....
She killed her son.
Family and friends were stunned.
She said she did not want anymore.
Just wrapped him up and
just left him on the floor.
Now she's crying cuz she can't
bring him back.
Expecting the public to
cut her some slack.
Life doe not work like that.
Sweetie, no excuses
You are straight wack

I Dream

Sometimes I dream
Dream Dream and Dream
My dreams does not end up
how it seems
Want to do so much
to help support my family
My team
So much I want to scream
Create my own creme
Hustle and scheme
Think, where's the light
that's gonna beam
Poetry I will stream
Need to come up with a theme
Deep Sea diving with fishes, seaweed, shells
in the bream
Glad I cut out some people out my life
like a seam
Got to write my thoughts
Cuz I'm steamed

Poets Garage Sale

I am getting rid of HATE
Releasing my ANGER
Controlling my TEMPER
Relaxing my MIND
Regaining my HAPPINESS
Reliving PAIN and DESPAIR
Sharing my THOUGHTS
COMMUNICATING
Allowing you to WALK in my shoes
FEEL my HEIRLOOMS
ENDURE my LIFE
MAKING PEACE WITH MY SELF
ACCEPTING me FLAWS IN ALL

Leschea's Letter To Her Mommy

Hello Mommy.
Please don't blame yourself
for my death.
Please don't blame daddy.
Most importantly, please don't blame GOD.
GOD doesn't take away what we love.
It was a surprise to me too mommy.
I love you and miss you.
I think about you all of the time
I am always watching over you.
Mommy always remember I am
your guardian angel. Also, I am so proud of you.
Even though I am in heaven;
your on Earth; I still believe that
you are a wonderful mother.
Any child would be very fortunate
to have a mother like you.
Mom, I don't want you to
think you are a nobody .
Mommy, you are somebody.
You are my mom.
You do have a purpose
and GOD has big plans for you.
I love you mommy
and GOD loves you.
Stay strong mommy'
LeSchea

When I Think of You and I

When I think of you and I
I think of surviving
Surviving this battlefield called love
Everlasting love, a partnership, a bond
Blessed from the heaven's above
Destined to be together
We've made it through
tornadoes, hurricanes, and
extremely hot weather
These storms will continue to come
It is important to stay and fight
Growing from a victim
to a fierce knight
Not letting anyone
or anything destroy our mite.

When I think of you and I
I think of RESPECT
RESPECT for yourself
RESPECT for your wife
RESPECT for our child
RESPECT for the
 entire human race
You know and I know
that no life can be replaced

When I think of you and I
I am thankful for so many traits
I am thankful that you are
not a cheater, a woman beater,
a manipulator a playa hater,
a control freak and a deadbeat
You could be doing wrong
Instead you do what a man
is supposed to do
This is a prime example
why I love you
I am not bullshitting boo

This love is real
True love is rare
Though we may
be busy at times
It may seem like
we do not care
Always remember that
 we will always be there

So Many Identities and Possibilties

Ladies, we are more than
our hips, thighs, booty, and our
breast size.
We are more than the color of our
eyes.
We are more than the length and
texture of our hair.
We are mothers, nurturers,
educators.
Survivors of deadly diseases
and survivors in life.
We are Adam's Rib
designed by GOD
put on this Earth as
our husbands backbone.
We are not allow ourselves
to become disrespected
nor should we disrespect anyone
else.
Women, so many identities so many
possibilities.

It Hurts

So many emotions
Irritation,Sad, Annoyed, Hopeless
Trying to Stay Positive
Complaints
You were stolen from me
So much pain to endure
I know its supposed to get easier
but it hurts just the same
I should see you in a beautiful dress,
a bow in your hair, white patent leather shoes
Death all around me. Where is the love?
God is Love.
