Tessa Chinery Poem
I was told to write
But i didn't know what to say.
All i did was sit there,
all darn day.
My thoughts were all jumbled,
they made no since at all.
My teacher told us to write.
I said " i will be here until nightfall.
She told me to open my heart
to explore, search, and find,
that one thing that would make me write.
By now i had that one thing in mind.
So i sat there and wrote all hour.
I never missed a beat.
By the time my story was done
I knew that we would meet.
Soon but not soon enough
did my dreams finally come true.
And i can't wait for that day.
When i get to be with you.
Forever is a long time they say.
But don't they know.
You can spend for ever with a person,
and there will be things about them that you don't know.
How i wish for that day to come.
Hoping i will be with you.
I will stand by you forever,
knowing my dreams have come true.
So, i sat there and i looked at my paper,
looked at my teacher and said with all my might.
I should have never listened to myself,
when I said I couldn't write.

I am sorry for the way i reacted,
it was wrong.
I am sorry for the way i treated you,
i feel horrible,
I am sorry for what was said,
they weren't my words.
I am sorry for how i made you feel,
that was never meant to happen.
I am sorry, i am sorry, i am sorry.
But i am not sorry about e in love with you,
falling head over heals for you.
I am not sorry for how i feel,
because my feelings are true.
I am not sorry i meat you,
it was the best thing that happened to me.
But i am sorry that i left you for someone else that wasn't rue to his word.

I dont fall in love with every guy I see.
No, I don't give my body out to just anyone.
My heart has been broken only once before.
Yes, i am a teenage girl but not the average one.
I am boy crazy but i can control my actions and thoughts.
I know what I want in a guy and those are the guys that I go for.
I want him to be kind, caring, gentle, considerate, passionate, and above all a gentleman.
I would like him to open doors for me, ask me about my thoughts and care about what I think.
I want my man to care about my mind and feelings, not what is on the outside of my body.
So yes I am a teenage girl but not like most.

11 years ago today the U.S was shattered.
People lost lives,
loved ones and friends.
America lost working men and women.
One incident brings us together every year.
Remembering those who died that day.
The men and women that died,
our heros that lived to tell the tale.
Where were you that day?
When the world stopped spinning?
That day when we lost millions?
The day the world stopped?
This day will never be forgotten
never will those thousand of Americans be forgotten.
This is a day in History
That will live on forever.
No, don't glorify the deaths but morn,
Do remember this thou
The world shattered and for a while stopped spinning.

Tell me what i got to do to win you over!
You'll never have to wonder if need another!
Just tell me what i gotta do.
I'll do anything for you.
You give me strength when i feel weak.
Your the feeling behind the words i speak.
The way you hold me me close and draw me near.
its like you are taking away every fear.
With you everything finally makes sense.
With you i have no reason to be tense.
I was so scared at first, of that feeling of love.
But i know we are blessed from the lord above.
We are meant to be one, and one we shall be.
I can picture our kids sitting on your knee.
They have your smile and your eyes.
That shines as bright as the stars in the sky.
