Think Positive

When your life is full of despair,
Look inside yourself and you will find the strength there.
Concentrate hard and you will reveal a new you,
A soul that is shining and true,
Faith is the answer to keep us on track,
Everybody hurts that is undoubtedly a fact,
Life is never easy, without struggles we would never appreciate what we have,
Always be thankful for the advice your elders gave,
Don't be sad, looking ahead,
Be positive and happy instead,
We are always looking for someone to save us or someone to blame.
This is your life so stake you claim.

Rain

As I stand here in the rain,
The raindrops fall on me and wash away all my pain.
I am the thunder and you are the lightning.

You know who you are and to me that's exciting.
The laughter we share, the memories I have.
Love is growing between us. It has to be said.
Our hearts and minds becoming entwined.
Bound to each other, never to let go.
Then, why are you leaving, distressing me so.
"I'll be back soon darling" you whisper. " Please let me go".
I smile and let go of your hand. My heart is breaking but you will never know.
" Wait for me" you say as you wave me goodbye.
My heart is heavy, the tears fall.
The rain comes harder, let it pour.

Longing

The scent of her perfume lingers on,
He can still hear her laughter every time he opens his front door,
The smile that captivated him greets him still.
He made mistakes, he sits and regrets.
A life with her he cannot forget.
She is alive with him with every single heartbeat.
As long as the sun still shines and the birds will sing.
His love for her will never fade.
The memories of a distant time, fresh in his mind.
The tears, the laughter, the sorrow and the pain.
How could he have been so foolish to let her go
Not knowing that her ghost would haunt him so........
