Taylor Jenkins Poem
It’s a hunger for you
One you can’t satisfy
You settle down
Then you wonder why
Tie one down
Then on to the next
With little mind
To those you oppress
But without runners
There is no race
No way for you
To taste the chase
With your sly tongue
And your foolish smile
Recruiting isn’t hard
But you’ll bore after a while

Taylor Jenkins Poem
I’m running towards you
You’re pushing away
In the dark
Where you left me
I’ll stay
You’re stuck on her
But you’re all I have left
Her touch isn’t one you forget
Did you spin her the web you spun me?
Promises to make the future a reality.
Were they hers before they were mine?
An empty house
A restless mind
Then I came along
You found a distraction
But you know the future
Isn’t what the past was.
