David Somerville Poem
< This England..
Where the streets are paved with gold.
Or,so we're told!
This England..
Filled with so much hate and greed,
Where eyes are closed to those in need.
Where a healthy life is the modern way.
That is,of course,if you can pay.
A land with riches in the south,
Whilst northern folk live hand to mouth.
Where the kids have turned to smack and dope,
Because their future's drained of hope.
Where young girls whore,so their kids can eat
And the press still squirm at princely feet.
This England..
Where children walk the streets at night
And no-one cares about their plight.
This Ancient Isle of Albion
Where it's all for none
And one for one.>
