Once Friends But No More

i once had two friends, you see who were very close to me. But then they did me wrong and hurt me very badly, It took me a long time to get over it. But I did get over it I took it to My father God in prayer. I forgave them and now Ive moved on and get stronger every day. We may all meet again someday thats up to God. So to my two friends who shall remain nameless God bless you both. from John

The Garden

Sat in a friends garden surrounded by plants, birds and bees.

Sat admiring each leaf and petal, all delicately made by the creator.

Looking at each bumblebee with it,s colours and watching it work,

moving from flower to flower gathering pollen to be made into honey,

that tastes so yummy.

Clematis, lavender and fig, so many plants all around me in one place to see,

so many species to memorise not so easy. The garden a place of beauty, peace

and harmony, a place of relaxation, rest and inspiration. A place to be close to

nature and in the presence of my lord sat at his feet.

A sunny day a comfy chair and a cool drink to hand. Just sat in the garden,

talking, praying and singing, me and the lord undisturbed, unbroken, undiluted

pure sweet fellowship. The way it should be. thank you God for the garden

                                                               Amen

Writers Block

From pen to paper my words will not flow,
oh how frustrating, I want to shout. How
I wish I could think of some lyric, or line
to put on paper that would look so fine.

What Iv`e got is common enough, It`s
called writers block you see It happens
to the best of us you know.

It can last a day, a month, or a year
brings misery instead of cheer. Knowing
I have words to share, doesnt help,
or improve things at all. I might
as well throw my pen away and
go up the wall.

Rock N Roll

Rock n roll was started by four guys from across the pond, there was Jerry, Johnny, Carl and a hep cat named Elvis
and later on the Big O. rock n roll was born. Some say it would not last, some say it,s just a fad, a phase people
were going through.but how wrong they were.

Rock n roll is here to stay. Telecaster Fender and Gretsch as well, all played a rockin beat to which we could move our feet.
Teddy boys with their crapes and drapes quiffs and da,s looking so tidy and smart. The Rockabillys as well in their jeans
tee shirts and leather jackets, also with quiffs side burns and Da,s.

One guitar, one drum and one double base and you have a rock a billy band, music that lives on for ever through out
this fine land as you will discover its still very much in demand, The music of Gene, Eddy and Elvis is far from dead.
its stronger than ever its got to be said

Blue sued shoes, love me tender all played so beautiful on a gretsch or fender a sound so sweet and fine that will blow your
mind so my friend to finally say Rock N Roll is not dead hooray.

Im Still Standing

I`ve been wrongly acussed abused and threatened with death.

Iv`e been in situations I never, wanted to be in, Iv`e been sworn

at spat at and punched hard in the face. Iv`e been attacked

spiritually as well, I have never had an earthly Father, never

knew him.

But through it all Im still here, still standing strong.

Bye the Grace of God alone, Its only my faith and

trust in him that has kept me going. That is why

Im still Standing.

Gods Will

The world was created, man, woman
and all I see was made, because It was
Gods will.

I was born into the world, on the
20th may 1966, because it was
Gods will. I was born for a purpose
and Gods plan. Because it was Gods
will.

Jesus died on the cross to set
us free, from guilt and free every
day, because it is Gods will that
this should happen. Nothing
happens without good reason,
without it being Gods will.

We can not live or survive
out side of God, with out
him we are nothing. He
created us one and all
to live for him. It is Gods
will.

MY PRAYER
Dear Dad,
                Please give me the
strength, to be who I am for you
daily and to be in your will not my will.
Amen Love John

He Is Still My Dad

Although struggling through the strife and strain , wanting to laugh and smile, but just being able to cry and frown instead.

Feeling lost and confused, not knowing where I am or where I am going sometimes, to be honest really scares me. Feeling a whole lot of emotions all at once, is really scary.

I know that following the lord aint no walk, in the park sometimes its light and sometimes its dark. The rough with the smooth, the good with the bad, but no matter what happens I know one thing I cling to him because He is still my Dad Amen
