Love Or Death

December 14, 1982
* A piercing scream echoes throughout the basement*
"What is that?!" I shriek
"Well this one is a scapel, this one is a bone saw, and this one is a crowbar," says Blaine, "hahaha, I don't really know which one is my favorite, but when I figure it out that's the one i'll use".
"Use on me? Why? What did I do for you to want to kill me?" I say with eyes full of tears.
"OH BRONTE LIKE YOU DON'T KNOW!" he yells, " ugh I hate when you make me yell, and first i'm going to torture you Then i'm going to kill you! hah and sense you want to know why i'm going to kill you, the reason is because you claim not to love me....so since you don't love me...you won't get the chance to love anyone else.haha"
"But,but Blaine", I stammer desperately, "I do love you!"
Oh I'm sure you do now...but I remember you telling me that you really just don't love me. Ahhh hahaha found it, we'll start with the bone saw."
(Saw turned on)
"Please!" I scream helplessly. "Please someone help!"
December 7,1982
"Look Blaine, I don't think its gonna work out, ya know, you and me, so I think we should start seeing other people", I say reluctantly.
"But....but don't you love me?" Blaine says with that weird look that just makes me skin crawl! Thats why I have to break up with this creepy guy now.
"I love you..."
"No Blaine", I say mater-of- fact like , " I really do not love you".
" Oh ok that's fine then I guess", he says with a weird look in his eyes. "I'm sure you'll change your mind or I'll help you change it".
"Huh?" I say
"Nothing Bronte, I gotta go but I'll see you around....."

Windows bring light
Show you beyond,
What is bright

A beautiful scene
And everything
That is green

Are more than a rectangle
The can show you-
A rain forest
A jungle
Anything
In your imagination!

Alone
Gosh 
Here I am
By myself
Alone

You shower me with kind words 
Tons of attention
Make me feel higher than a balloon
But now-its different i feel
Alone

Does it always hurt this bad?
Or is it just the first time?
It's funny it hurts 
but I don't feel anything

I try
Honestly I do
To write a happy poem
But all i get 
Is the sadness of my soul
All I get is the sadness i feel when i am

Is that how you see me?
As your last pick?
Others come and go
But where am I?
 
Here waiting for you
That's cute...if that's what you think
Sure I stay and do what i know is right
But I'm not here for you

No not at all
But will I keep hating you?
Or do what's right
Talking and smiling as if you don't bother me?

You might view me as a leftover
But I'll fix me and make you my friend again

But is love what a single rose mean?

Could that read be a terrifing image
Of your lost love?
An image of blood from the 
sharp blade of depression?

Teens

Ahh this is what it feels like 
To be a teen, i mean
I've always looked forwards d
To these crazy years

People always say teens 
Are Just no good
Be afraid for your time
Cuz things change

But I say 
'I thought change was good?'
No good or greatness?
Everyone one is different
Let us be us!

Young wild and free is all we wanna be
We may get sad for no reason
Get angry or really happy 
We are who we are let teens be teens
