Forever Special

Forever Special
If words can contain my thoughts,
Then I will write thousands of words
If books can hold my thoughts,
Then I will by now have a room full of books
If speech-talks can depict my thoughts,
Then I will have to ask for expansion of my brain

For I don’t think my words are enough
I don’t think my books are sufficient enough
I don’t think my speech-talks are enough
I doubt my words, books, speech and talks
Can really show how I feel about you

If I could make the Heavens come down
Just to explicitly express my gratitude
If I could make the Sun stand still_
Just to tell you how special and a prima you are
If Mountains could be turned upside down
So that I can reveal to you
The hidden and deep feelings of the explicit luv
You have graced my feet with_
But alas!
My fantasies are just fantasies
But I promise to always have you at heart
You will forever be special in my lame eyes

Whenever Wherever

Whenever I hear the beat of a drum,
   Wherever I may be,
 I can’t veil this_
These radiant and ever refreshing memories

The slightest beat of a drum
Will bring smiles all over my face
Along with ever fresh memoirs,
Soothing my heart
With ever ringing songs and beats
Of “small London”; Dagbamate,
My most adored and lovable village

A village of togetherness, fun and excitements
And bits and bits of sorrows, grief and disappointments
The village of singing and drumming,
One which adores its culture
Holding it high above all others
The sounds from its drums
Can awaken your long dead prowess

   Country on its own,
Is how I see my village.
Wherever I may be,
Whenever I hear drums beat,
I shall remember the ‘country on its own’

My Search

Winds blew,
Storms descend,
Lightening struck
Thunder reared its striking face
Causing people to shut their houses and tight
Not daring to come out
But i was out
Roaming in the Mystery Forest
In search of...?
  It seems I'm in love
But can't figure it out
And to whom?

The rain was still clattering and beating
Causing trees to sway to and fro
But i rather took on horse hoods
  My eyes roamed to see
If i can get a glimpse of...?
My feet walked each passing second
sore and wounded became of them
But that did not deter me
When i saw the sun drifting away,
I stopped to rest for the day
hoping my search will be fruitful
Tomorrow,
One day!
