Joe Geraci Poem
I was trying to meet you
When i awoke in a bad dream
In sky and love I fell
And I was you

Joe Geraci Poem
Xenon cry, reverberator night
It's either wounded near death
Or calling out, the blurred lines
Between hurt and lonesomeness
Why it felt so cold
Like the world face, turning to its fate?
Where the ominous black pulls back its shaw
Showing us where we will all end up
Like the xenon crying out in a reverberating night

Joe Geraci Poem
From up here the stars pass like street lights
as I sit back and stare into ancient history
I've never been this far away from home
the thought comes just as easily as it goes
She’s takes my hand and my thoughts cascades into a blur
I can feel the hum of the universe
to a land of dreams
She says she’ll take me
far away from everything
just as I wake

Joe Geraci Poem
where shadows devour twilight
there are wild beasts at play
they dwell in their aphotic world
and we are two of the same
Your eyes, their amber burn
with embers heavy like the stars
bear weight to rest upon my feeble heart
what a burden
and what a burden
to have a taste
for it to be ripped away like the light of day
while by natures chords
the sky is spun like a cosmic gyre
your allure emanates pain like a wild fire
your cries howl the night
your hide as black as it's affliction
our dark sunken minds
we are wild beasts at play

Joe Geraci Poem
Dark art in a black cathedral
Everyones invited see all the people
Dressed as ghouls in barrows with wights
love is the spider that consumes the fly
Half my face for all to see
the other side black like the darkest sea
Moonshine falls on crystal eyes
the bones of our minds creak and sigh
Midnight mare moves with me
We rock and sway like ships at sea
On an ocean plain of marble floor
Within my heart her anchors moored

Joe Geraci Poem
I found myself at the bottom looking up
For all that was dark and barren was this below
I was in what felt like desolation
And we were all strange creatures
The shelf was miles high
Just below a soft azure
Before it plunged into an abyssal sky

Joe Geraci Poem
It's fast and it moves
It rides the wind like waves
Their feathers sheer the sky
A moving amalgamation
Natures hive-mind
Dominates the aerospace
The everchanging form
An orchestra of grace
But not the dischordant flutterer
Who zigzags in its pace
The off bird in aerospace

Joe Geraci Poem
This black night, cast asleep
i've walked into midnights dream
Animal calls and talking trees
the sidewalk smiles with crooked teeth
A tired moon yawns while giants lay
A star littered sky is set ablaze
The soft wind wanders
like the astronomer
as it keeps me company
in a bright world sundered

Joe Geraci Poem
Scurry scurry, Skitter scatter
Tick tick tick
He found the cheese platter
Resting on jean
Metal in the air
Riding down Beach
Wind in his fur
He has no jacket
Nothing like that
Because he’s a tiny
Little white rat
