You met a girl, but made her a mother.
You have problems of your own how can you take care of another.
So your thoughts are racing, your feet are pacing.
It turns out you made a little girl
You could have had someone to make your world
But one night you took your own life.
That was two years ago and something still isn't right.
And every night I think what would life be like.

Dreams hopes and possibilities 
only the lord will know what life will bring
Take your dreams and hold them tight
when needed always put up a fight
Takes your hopes and bring them into tomorrow

When Its Right, You Just Know

When I look into your eyes I see hope, I see passion
Please tell me this feeling is everlasting
I knew from the first time your eyes might mine
That mainly thoughts of you would take up my mind
Looking back its already been four years
And everyday  i fight back the tears
You cant see me slip or accidentally say the truth
But the truth is i'm more then crazy about you
Anything this bad should be an obsession
When I fall from this ill sure learn my lesson

Dear, Mother

You were the one that I called to when I was feeling blue or just when I needed you
You were the one to raise me who showed me how to be a lady
You tried to show me who was flaw and who would stay
But when I needed you the most, your gone and are no longer my host
I lost my best friend I also called my mother
Please god watch over me and my little brother
Now I just take a breath and look at the clouds because I know shes always looking down
Watching you staying true and doing you
But I cant help it every now and then I get blue
But you would want me to be happy, so this life I live is all for you

The Old and New You

Back when we couldn't drive
Back when we had to be home at nine
You were by my side
We used to have it all
Until one day you made that fall
not for me or even another
you said you would never end up like your mother
Why did you have to turn out like this
you were the main boy on my list
Now i don't even want to say it
But what your doing you need to quit
Take a step back and see what i see
Your not the same boy you used to be
I'm not asking you to love me, or act like you care
But right now its like your not even there
You need help and you need to get better
You cant rob or steal to make your cheddar

It Will Always Be You

The sky has never looked so blue
But even that doesn't distract me from you
Its in your smile and in your eyes
You got my heart open a mile wide
So i sit back and enjoy this heat
While i staring at you in my passenger seat
Its days like this that make me want to press pause
I'd do anything for you,even break the law
But i don't let that show i just light up the blee and say lets go
Moments like this should last forever
Ill stick with you no matter the weather
All i'm asking is for you to love me
And ill help you be anything you want to be

What is death if the memories stay
what is life if you waste it away]time is limited so enjoy every minute of it
don't stop what you love if someone tells you to quit 
try to make a difference in the world don't just skate by
your capable of more you just got to figure out why
don't take life for granted only the strong survive

Those big blue eyes, how we looked at the stars at night.
We would always take those drives at night, park the car, then just fly.
Everything was easy, yet hard to say.
All those thoughts and words got in the way.
But words unspoken often leads to hearts that get broken.
There's words I never got to say.

The Truth

It used to be love and there used to be hope
now it feels like i'm hanging on by a rope
Its not love and it hasn't been
but i'm stuck wondering when
When will i get out when will i be free
but i'm the only one stopping me

Motherly Advice

Growing up  i've done some crazy stuff
I really just say I have bad luck
But my Momma raised me to be tough
And just doing you is always enough
Now that shes gone I carry on her lessons
Everything happens for a reason and they turn out to be blessings
Even through all this hurt and all this pain
I know one day ill see you again
But for now I have angel looking over me
Because who knows what a mess I will be
So i'm taking this time and thanking you
For showing me how to be me and always stay true
