Who Do You Think You Are

Who do you think you are?
My shining wish upon a star?

You don't know who I am.
Did you even try to get to know me?
I'm the mighty lion and you're the timid lamb.
Why don't you set your true self free?

Why can't you see
That there's so much more to me?

Given what you know,
And knowing what you don't,
You have no other way to go,
But admitting to that you won't.

Who do you think you are?
Why can't you see
You're my shining star?
And there's nothing more to me.

Key To My Heart

I can't stop thinking about you
You're always on my mind.
Your eyes, your heartbeat, everything you do
I think of all the time.

I can't imagine my life without you
Your smile, your laugh, your embrace.
If you left I don't know what I'd do.
But I would never forget your face.

Is this what love feels like?
Why does it hurt so much?
Like the jabbing teeth of a Pike
In my heart without your touch.

I think I love you
But I don't know.
Like a bird you flew
And I have nowhere to go.

I wish for your heart.
Friendship is all you give me.
But from the start,
I gave you my heart's key.

Constellations

Leo the Mighty Lion stalks the starry sky
As Orion the Great Hunter aims an arrow at his eye.

A battle splayed among the stars
To the world's farthest fars.

A big bear helps a little one cross the Milky Way.
Taurus fights a Red Dwarf, what more can I say?

Cancer keeps on waiting for the ocean's tide
As Aries is running for a place to hide...

From Draco's mighty fire seen from here on earth.
It shows the other stars who has ruled from birth.

And Leo the Mighty Lion pounces in the sky
As Orion the Great Hunter lets his arrow fly.

Engraved

Your name is in my heart now
Engraved with steely blood.

No way you'll be forgotten
Unless life takes me away.

But then we'll be together
And your name will be said aloud.

To make me happy
Instead of sad.

I can talk to you
Instead of about you.

I can give you a hug
Instead of wishing I could.

I can tell you I love you
Instead of praying it to you.

That simple name in my heart
It will take me places.

Forever Roam

Into a silent valley we walk
Into a golden meadow as the birds talk
Into a wild unknown land
Into the middle of a marching band
Into the air filled with mist
Into a twirl with a twist
Into a bog consumed by mud
Into a battlefield spurted with blood
Into the ocean's billowing foam
A world where we live forever and forever roam.

Sky Guardian

A star that shines so brightly
In the sky's design.
Without you what would I be,
Without my guardian sign?

Orion the Great Hunter
You're always there to see.
To a lonesome arrow
You're always there for me.

You shine and glimmer proudly
Upon this haunted ground.
Every time I want to scream loudly
I'm glad that you're around.

In my eyes you gleam
Forever never changing.
You protect me in my dreams
As the world I go ranging.

Be There

If you ever dare
You can go into the sky.
But I will always be there.
     Upon that mighty stair,
     The world passes you by.
     If it should dare.
Depending on how well you fair
Will influence how much you cry.
But I will always be there.
You know how much I care
So lift your wings and fly.
     If you ever dare.
We make quite a pair
Like a suit and tie.
And I will always be there.
The friendship we have is rare.
And will not end even when we die.
     If we ever dare.
     I will always be there.

The Little Things

One arrow in a quiver
A string in a tapestry
A letter to deliver
One word in a mystery.

A feather on a bird
A body's single cell
One person in the world
One stone upon a well.

A smaller part of everything
A smile in a room of frowns
One thing leads to bigger dreams
One up can fix all downs.

Don't take for granted those little things
They help to move life on
Whatever destiny may bring
The small things bring life's dawn.
