Magic Carpet Ride

Wow look at me
                soaring across the globe
All my emotions feeling & thoughts ride high
                on this magic carpet ride

                Welcome to poetry soup Kerry
a big shout from Anne Lise
                So warm and welcoming
                I feel so at home
                poetry soup has changed me
                I no longer feel alone

This magic carpet ride has taken me
beyond places I thought I would never roam
               Fly forever now
for there is no stopping me

               So many to visit
& still so many to meet
               I must be off now
as my magic carpet ride awaits
               to fly me too
               the next poets place..

Moonrise

A moonrise over the bluff
 the earth is alive
showing off her beauty in a ray of colors
As the waves roll in hitting the sandy shore
there's no place you would rather be
a perfect moment in a perfect place
nothing but you & the sea
 & as the
earthly winds whisper along your face
you feel the freedom wash along your feet
 a moonrise captured
 sitting so high
you thank the universe your alive..

Inspired by a photo taken at a beach where I grew up.

Lone Wolf

A heart rages within
 a lone wolf cries
the earth beneath is falling apart
 distruction, violence, money & greed
people consuming more than they need

A silent prey goes out to the universe
 a tear full of
 ''Why''
 falls from his eye
 Mother earth is being abused
 full of junk
 what have we become

 Drowning in glutney
 till we can't breathe
 A lone wolf cries
 ''Why''
what will become of our lives..

Spider's Creation

A shower of light reflects
 colors of green unite
A silk web is formend umong the bluff's tree's
 glistening in all it's form
 high above the daylight sky
 it is such a delight
to see the creation of a spider's life..

Life

Life is not a perfect circle
   we all have our shapes
some battle more & some just battle
but no matter how you look at it
   everybody will suffer the inevitable
loss has been apart of my journey & for that I am grateful
for the love & strength it has given & lesson's it has taught
never do I take this life fro granted
for it is bigger than i ever thought
   life's journey's will have answer's &
   come together as it should
   & understanding of it all
will be right to make it o.k..

Twilight Lies

The twilight lies capture your eyes
from these dreams I see
a staircase where you stand
looking eccentric glancing down at me
what is it my love you wish to taste
desire will kill you for you cannot have your way
so many tangled nights, I never thought I would see you again
what's wrong with you baby
my dream is not about you
it's all among the universe
for I am a star baby
I sing and dance move exotic like
my heart feels the desire as lust tries to take over
a thought beyond the rising of my heavy head
am I in heaven or hell
or caught up in your twilight lies....

Writer

I look up at the stars
I breathe in the magic of the universe
as the rain falls, and my skin soaks it in
I feel the beat of my heart, and I dance within
I am alive, I am free, I can be me
life is my gift, writting my passion
I write for the hope of touching your heart
I write to lift your spirit
to make you smile, to make you feel alive
I write only for you and I
messages with love, hope and faith
in a poem, an affirmation or a story I create
I hope I have enlighten you, lifted you, inspired you
for this is my gift to you...

A Princess Wish

One day i will climb that tree,
Sit at the top to feel the breeze
One day I'll swing on that swing,
So high I can touch the sky
One day i will ride my bike,
So fast across the land
One day i will play with the other kids,
When I'm not feeling so sick
One day i know i will be well,
One day soon i will be cured, no more pain, no more suffering
That day will be
When god sends his angel's down for me
To forever play in heaven's playground...

Written for little Kiara who lost her fight
fly free baby girl...

Blurred Vision

I wake up but I can't see
Everything is blurry
Life is not what it used to be
Beyond the silence a little girl cries
As all faith is taken
Broken into piece's, never to be found

He taste's her innocence along the softness of his tongue
He smiles with delight
As his desire is pleased
This man is evil, his blackened soul hollow
He shows no sympathy upon his victim
Quiet he say's don't say a word
This is our little secret
Words of pure darkness, words of hurt, beyond such pain
I listen and obey with vision of hope & faith among the blurred

For I am only eight and feel I'm going insane
Can't anybody tell how much I have changed
His filth is all over me, can't you smell
My hands are bleeding with pleasing
Why
Why me
Is there really any hope as my faith fades

This monster won't let me be
Every night I am forced to touch and taste
Such a weapon of disgrace

My tears fall endlessly, I moan from sorrow
Shaking and freighted to my core, I don't want to do this anymore
But he is not leaving this house, nor am I
I am, stuck here, because my mother loves him
I want to tell her, scream at her
I want her to see
See I am no longer the little girl I used to be

Is it me who's vision is blurred
A question I'll never understand
I am a victim now, forever he will have his way
Will I ever grow up
What will become of me, can I ever heal the damage
Will I ever see clear again, I am afraid of all of thee
Though I am empty to the absolute abyss of my soul
I make a promise to myself, never to carry his load
For all I see through this blurred vision
A little girl all of eight holding onto the sight of hope & faith.

Five Generations Strong

Life is not about seeking fame & fortune
life is beautiful in so many other ways
life is family 5 generations strong
sharing memories & stories from beyond
passing truth & love from a special bond

When you have family who stand strong
who are there for you in your storm
you have all the ritches in the world
 golden treasures in eachother
 all apart of one another..
