Gods Army

As we awake, from these unpleasant dreams.

We toss, we turn, we even flip it seems.

These lives, can be a rough and stormy night.

But we still swing, we still fight.

The ends may be close, or even near.

But our lives we cheerish but will not fear.

Just like many, we know the drill.

The way up, is thru Gods will.

So if we act a little smarmy.

Its, we`re especially covered, we,re in Gods Army.

Feelings

I woke up this morning,
and while gazing at the sky.
A warmth ran thru my body,
what a natural high.
So beautiful, so clear ,
I can see for a mile.
This was Gods beauty,
this was Gods smile.
I feel the Love,
he has for me.
Without him,
this I wouldn,t see.
So lovely, so serene and
so sureal.
Thank you Lord ,
for letting me feel.
And as I grow old,
theres Peace within my soul.
Again Thank you Lord,
for this feeling it,s so Bold

I Was Lost

I was lost out there,
and thought not to be found.
walking ,thinking,hustling.
all over town.
I hoped this not, the life for me.
But I learned , it was a path to where i be.
Before you be up, you must be down.
But not like the leaf, but the tree you must be sound.
So when you,re there, keep your head to the sky.
From down there, you can only go high.
Its not just me, it could`ve been you.
But don`t worry just look to Jesus,
he knows what to do.

Starting Over

Sometimes in our lives
we take wrong turns.

And then we wonder,
why not we,ve learned.

The spiral downward,
seems only to get deeper.

Then the minds eye,
only see,s the Grim Reaper.

But thru Jesus,
comes your sight

Wide eyed open,
you,re able to see some light.

Then thru his will,
your journey begins.

You get to start all over,
all over again.
