Redeeming Color of Red

A stain will be left behind when the ordinary color of red bleeds
There will be a mark of imperfection that it will surely leave
Yet the blood of red that flowed on the cross from Jesus Christ
Washes a sinful soul clean and gives the free gift of salvation unto eternal life

Forgiveness occurs as you confess and call upon the Savior's Name
A rebirth in God is now yours to claim
Your past sins - He will remember no more
You are a new creation in Christ - your fellowship with God is restored

On April 30, 2009, through all of His unconditional love for me
In His Infinite Wisdom, so unexpectedly,
God opened my eyes to allow me to see myself - fully exposed - with nothing secretly hidden
He showed me the care-free fruits of life I had eaten that I were forbidden

Before me were the crumbling foundations that had been carefully built in my youth
I saw the dishonesties that I boldly lived as truths
Before me were my wavering footsteps as I carelessly took foolish chance after chance
I saw the trust I had placed, not in God, but in mere mortal man
Before me was the question of where I was going to spend eternity
I saw the door opening for me to enter unto Christ so He could set my sin-filled soul free

Because to save myself - this was something that never could be done
I had to come to God, as I was, to receive salvation by grace through His Only Begotten Son
God let me know I could not wait any longer, the time was at hand
For another day is never promised to anyone in this land

I confessed my sins and believed on my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
I surrendered to God's will and prayed for Him to change my life
As I cried out to my Father in complete humility
I finally understood the meaning of: Life is all about Him and not about me

Although the straight and narrow road has not always been easy and is at times hard to bear
It is worth it because I know while on it, with me, My God is always there
I count my blessings because God did not have to, but He did give me enough time
To truly accept Christ and have an extraordinary transformation of my mind
I am grateful that the Holy Spirit was placed within me as a Comforter and an Intercessor
I am living proof when you surrender to the will of Christ your life will be made better

So, a joyful heart I have, as I walk with Him, on this path He has allowed me to tread
I am so thankful to my Savior Jesus Christ to be washed clean by His blood - the redeeming color of red.

Perfect Providence

God chooses a woman to deliver us unto earth
In preparation for our regeneration – our spiritual rebirth
Knitting us together within her womb from life’s seed
Oh what a wondrous miracle God performs indeed
Given by the grace of God Almighty
She never should be forsaken or taken lightly
We have to abide by what the Holy Bible says
To honor thy mother and unto us shall be added length of days
So never base your relationship solely on what she does
Strictly adhere to the teachings of Jesus Christ and be led by His example of unconditional love
For fleeting and ever changing are our human emotions
We have to rely on spiritually guided devotion
What God calls into being is never a coincidence
But of everlasting truth and perfect providence
Your mother was created especially for you so your birth could be fulfilled
Always keep in mind this is all of His will
So let her breathe in the aroma of the gifted rose while she is still here
If she has passed let the fragrance of sweet memories within your mind keep her near Mothers are a special gift bestowed unto us by the Lord
For through her our soul enters earth in perfect line for the ultimate reward
Of salvation by the redeeming power of Jesus Christ
And the final destination to everlasting life

Sacrificial Lamb

The Sacrificial Lamb
On the cross
Shedding His Blood
So our souls would not be lost

What greater love could there ever be
Who could love us as much as He
Giving His life for an entire nation
One selfless act to save all of creation

Reserving us a space
In our heavenly Holy Father's place
Our final home to come
In His Wonderful Kingdom

I Cannot Turn Back

How can I turn back now knowing what I do
Having been introduced to an unconditional love so true
How can I stop my walk of faith and cease it to exist
Knowing how God has brought me out of sin's deep abyss
If I suddenly stopped and turned around
Back into the enemy's chains I would be bound
If I ran away where would I hide
A river deep could not hold the anguish I would feel inside
I am totally thankful for all God has done for me
Grateful for His Sacrificial Lamb that set my soul free
Day to day with His grace I will do my best
To stay on the course that leads to righteousness
I know He will keep me steay and still
For truly my life is done by His will
His living water will quench me when I am thirsty
Fill my soul with His unending mercy
So I will remain planted and rooted by His mighty seed
For only in God will I truly believe
