When the Sun Sets

When the sun sets, The stars shine with no regrets. Darkness fills the air, The moon gives light with every care. The darkness is easier to walk through, Every light shining is so pure and true. Guidence forever are the stars in the sky, With them we find our places lifted so high. Forever is the moon to cast light upon us all, We become encouraged to stand firm and tall. The stars shine with no regrets, When the sun sets.

When the sun sets, Shining its powerful light it never forgets. Though light fades to darkness, It comes about with alertness. Shadows before the eye can see, The little shining light is enough to set us free. Sometimes we are afraid to walk alone in the dark, From which we were given a caustic remark. Guidance Forever is the changing of dark and light, It helps us to be strong and make one last fight. Forever are the shadows lurking at every turning point, If we give in it is ourselves we disappoint. Shining its powerful light it never forgets, When the sun sets.

When the sun sets, The sky is filled with wonderful colors that the ocean reflects. All the animals of the sea, Come forth creating a musical harmony. The waves crash upon the shore, Washing up new sand to the ocean floor. Its a beautiful site to see, The ocean sounds are calmingly free. Who's to say the ocean isn't peaceful get away, Its a calming place to relax and stay. The sky is filled with wonderful colors that the ocean reflects, When the sun sets.

Best Buds Forever

I still remember that day when you were a kitten,
You were so small and fit in my hand like a mitten.
I knew when I held you I would raise you,
The love I felt was more than true.
I was with you at my grandma's till I could take you home,
Then the journey of raising you began...

We brought you home and I showed you our house,
I still remember when you saw your first mouse.
You jumped out of my arms and made your attack,
I stood there and watched you get your afternoon snack.
Then we were deciding on names for you,
I just felt something with dexter and knew it was true.
I was only 8 and didn't know any better,
I did some things that I still regret.

I tormented you so bad,
Looking back it makes me sad.
But I grew up and knew how to take care of you,
Even though what I did when I was younger made me feel blue.
You grew up so fast,
I never thought me and you as buds would last.
But it did I'm so proud for that,
Because in the end your my cat.

Then came the day we would move into a bigger house,
But you never again got a hold of a mouse.
You were so scared but I took you under my wing.
I showed you around the house and you were so happy.
I redeemed myself from everything I had done.

Things got better between us as the days flew by,
The love strong that were flying so high together in the sky.
You greet me when I walk through the door,
I feel so touched that I fall to the floor.
I cherish every second that your on my bed or just saying hi in my room,
The smile that's on my face brings a tear that would make flowers bloom.

Now your all grown up and still getting older,
The temperature in my heart has gotten colder.
So cold because I know your time is soon up,
I'm struggling to figure out how full is my cup.
I only wish you could live longer and we still be together,
But we will always be best buds forever.

Always Remember Tooth Paste

Tears for fears.
Tears throughout the years.
Tears that fallen from my peers.
A tear so sincere that will shred us from this dreadful fear.
That someday we all will die.
But have u gotten a slice of that pie.
A pie so delicious u can almost taste.
That u cant let it go to waste.
Maybe next time I'll remember tooth paste.

What Sound Does a Wolf Make

They hunt in packs,
They hunt to survive,
They roam the earth,
To stay alive.
They take down their prey,
The bones begin to break,
But what sound does a wolf make?
When night falls in,
The moon is full,
They make their call,
A roaring stampede as if from a bull.
They take down their prey,
The bones begin to break,
But what sound does a wolf make?
A simple howl,
Is their trumpet call,
To others its more than that,
Hunting in packs they rise to fall.
They take down their prey,
The bones begin break,
But what sound does a wolf make?

Nothing Gold Can Stay

Nothing gold can stay.
Sometimes u find it slips away,
Something close that u can touch,
But in the end it was to much,
Like a flood flowing through a city,
Life is hard when u live in pity,
Things may be good but turn bad,
Sometimes it makes u really sad,
Days and nights may go,
Just have to live life nice and slow,
Maybe somethings may not be right,
Its never good to pick a fight,
Sometimes u find it slips away,
Nothing gold can stay.

Him, He Cant Forgive

Struggles begin, The pain is deep from within. He's scarred with a mark, His days are so dark. His life has become the dark days, In his troubled bed is where he lays. There is no light, His days are only night. How could he be lost in the memories he relives, How can he blame you when its him, he cant forgive.

He made his bed and he's stuck, All his life he never had luck. Time slowly passes him by, He has no wings to spread and fly. With each day he thinks he grows stronger, But the distance between him and his inner self has grown longer. He is so far from everything, Its not much longer that his toll from the bell will soon ring. How could he be lost in the memories he relives, How can he blame you when its him, he cant forgive.

Another Bullet From a Sniper

It's a war story. One shot... One kill... No guts, No glory...

Out in some country you didnt know existed. Getting ready to know the mission your gathering your throughts but your minds twisted. Captain tells you, your on a sniper mission. He tells you "Get your gear and meet back here so I can explain your explain." Next thing you know your geared up so you won't get spotted, Your rifle loaded and your ready to go. Soon at your location with your friend who was made your eyes, To tell what to look for, Who to kill and when to shoot. In the room of the 22nd floor of an abandoned hotel peeping out the window awaiting instructions while staying unseen, You get your instructions to keep a lookout at the ravine. You await the presence of a masterminded Leader who you know what he looks like and his nickname is Viper. You spot him take your chance and got him. Another bullet from a sniper.

Still trying to stay unseen, You head to the back window and parachute out. Head to the vehicle and attempt a get away before word gets out the Leaders been killes, Then while your thinking we did it, an RPG on the roof top fires hits road aside the jeep and flips over, And all plans before you are spilled. Your knocked out. Your friend calls for back up. You awake hearing gun shots and explosives. Under heavy fire, your squad asking "What do we do Srg.?" Some saying "We're gonna die!" You grab your sniper rifle and gun down the RPG's. The sign of defeat is no longer in sight. Your squad fighting for all your might. Srg. calls in an air strike. Your squad takes cover. Hearing the roaring jets and the sounds of explosions over and over. Your squad gets news the enemy has surrendered and look out only to see smoke and bodies laying everywhere, Headed back home with a victory along with an almost scare. All from another bullet from a sniper.

Worth Fighting For

Walk of fame,
Walk of shame.
But what is it really worth?
If we win,
We only live to fight again.
If we lose,
Then it was worth fighting for.

Road to somewhere,
Road to nowhere.
But what is it really worth?
If we win,
We only live to fight again.
If we lose,
Then it was worth fighting for.

Sea to shining sea,
Tree to rotting tree.
But what is it really worth?
If we win,
We only live to fight again.
If we lose,
Then it was worth fighting for.

Low Man Is Due

A low man is due...
My eyes seek reality,
My fingers feel for faith.
Touch clean with a dirty hand,
I touch the clean to the waste.
I fall cause I let go,
The net below has rot away.
And I cry to the alleyway,
Confess all to the rain.
But I lie straight to the mirror,
The one I've broken to match my face.
The fire is so warm,
But nowhere safe from the storm.
And I can't bear to see,
What I've let me be.
So wicked and worn.
So as I write to you,
Of what is done and to do.
Maybe you'll understand,
I won't cry for this man.
Cause low man is due.
So low the sky is all I see,
All I want from you is forgive me.
My eyes seek reality,
And my fingers seek my veins.
There's a dog at your back step,
He must come in from the rain.
But you bring that poor dog in from the rain,
Though he just wants right back out again.
So my fingers feel for faith,
And my eyes seek reality.
So as I write to you,
Of what is done and to do.
Maybe you'll understand,
I won't cry for this man.
Cause low man is due.

And Nothing Else Matters

I never opened myself this way,
I try to hide my evil everyday.
All of this I can't just say,
My darkened bed is where I lay.
I lived my life without a care,
A place to hide please take me there.
My emotions paint the walls with darkened splatters,
And nothing else matters.

I want to run away never looking back,
Prove all the people wrong talking smack.
But I can't bare to witness this any longer.
Take me to a new home.
I can't find it to care,
A place to hide please take me there.
My emotions paint the walls with darkened splatters,
And nothing else matters.
