Us

A lovable person
Beautiful smile
Cute face, chunky waist
Deviled mind
Enhanced intellgence
Filled with happy times
Gentle tender kisses
Held by you
In a
Jar filled with
Kiddy games we
Loved to play
Months before it got to late
Numbers lost
Over time while
Painted notes of ours
Quest to
Run in colored
Seas
Torn apart in
Unrated love
Vowels
Washed with
Xs and Os
You sealed with a
Zeolus kiss that we both miss

Back On My Own Two Feet

Friday, Friday, Friday September 29th, 1995

A young lost child was born in a small cold empty room

She was born in a world of confusion

Now she's at the age of 15

And still don't know what to do

At the age of 6 she was raped by her uncle

And her cousins that don't even love her

But don't worry she still forgives them

And saved a place in her heart for them

One month, one month before being born her daddy left

Now she wonders how it would be with him by her side

In 96' her motha left both her n her sista

With them thinkin' that their aunt was there mother

When all along she was abusing them like crazy

At the age of 13 she got her first charge for the first time ever

Now she's sacered to death hoping God can forgive her

But why should he forgive her

Why should he forgive her

Why should he forgive her when a few months down the lane at the age of 14 she picked up another charge

She ask the Lord what can he do for her

Up til' this day she hasn't gotten het answer

Cause up til' this day, up til' this day she's still getting into trouble

Smokin' pot, blacks, cigarrates and all that crap

Fightin people like it aint nothin'

Not goin' to school cause of her past history in class

But on the bright side, on the bright side she has high hopes for herself

And when things go wrong

She learned how to get up, pray about it, shake it off, and just keep it movin'

Things might not get better any time soon

But she don't let any thing hold her back

And just let everything be a learning experince

No matter what cause I'm coming back

Yeah I said it, I'm coming back

And I'm coming back on my own two feet

A Letter To Remembered Joy

So what do I do now?

Do I pray?

Do I cry?

Or do I hide from the monsters that are inside?

If I stood on my head,

Stripped butt-naked in the middle of Time Square

Screaming, "I'm Sorry!"

As loud as I could it still wouldn't be enough

How do I tell the parnets of my best friend that I'm sorry for killing their son?

Words wouldn't cover something that bad I know you must be aberrant

At times I wish I could of traded places with you....

I thought about you the other day,

And I started to think about the things that we used to do

So instead if writing

"I'm sorry about what happened"

60,000 times on a sheet of notebook paper

I decided to write you a letter to remembered joy to help you remember the good stuff instead of the bad

I hope this gives you some comfort

And one day you can start to forgive me

So here I go.............

U and I

Shhh... I want silence in this room please

This important message is for my two favorite vowels U and I

And I honestly don't know why

But I remember U kissed I on I's lips,

I begun to moan and groan when U touched I there

And whispered in I ears, "I love you"

So I begun to cry sweet tears of loved love the U made I feel for the first time

With the sound of love being passed around in musical tones

As Alica Keys sing no one

Cause that was U and I love song

And Adele passes on the message of I having no one like U

But Tupac told I to keep I head up

When U soul went away

Only for I to say "I love you" too late

So I heart breaks

Life

Life is but an empty dream

For the soul is dead as it meets

And things are not what they seem.......

We live our lives 'trying to get what we want

Only to be crused by lovers and friends

It's just so difficult in times like these

When a deafening stillness fills the room

And no more words are to be found in a soul

As the storm ripped away atructers

And left battered memories behind

As time stood still

I begun to realize....

Begun to realize that life

Life leave behind us footprints on the sands of time

As it goes on and on and on........

Kiss of An Angel

Your lips speak soft sweetness
While you hold me tight in your arms
And you begin to say, "I love you"
So I began to kiss you
And your kiss felt like a kiss from an angel
But your spirit didn't lift up
The same way you made her heart fly when I cought you
Now I go back and wonder
Wonder if the soft sweetness that was murmured out your lips was true
And if your kiss was really a kiss from an angel
Or maybe the way that I was held in your arms a way of telling me goodbye
But I guess I would never know
Cause now I'm with someone who lips speak true words of love
While his arms are wraped around me me in abondent time
And is getting tighter each second
And when we kiss,
His spirit lifts him up high
While an angel looks down and begin to smile
He whispers, "I love you and this kiss that given was given by an angel I just thought I let you know and I hope you feel the same way about me too"

Her Untold Story

Her words are silenced
Her face has been earsed
Distance is something that empowered her
She dears to be heard, seen, held close
But she has been zipped in unseen blackness
That they dont care to help
Just sit and laugh
Laugh at how she pins her hair short
Wraps her body in dull colors
That they cant seem to adore
She trys to yell out and be heard to show the real her
But they just put her on mute
And begins to ignore
She sees the hurt in their laughter and understand the beauty in hers
But they don't seem to understand in written picthers that she has
They break her soul with sharp knives
That later wont be patched
Her belly is unsteeched with dull needles
That screams for sudden help
But is typed to Presdent Nobody
That writes return to sender unwanted help is not given
Her pain cries for ungiven happiness
That is sold to the only person she believes that listens but wishes it isn't the person that lies bentheh us
That we dear not to share our souls to
Her voice, soul, innocence, are taken by a darken devil
And she allows it because of them

Survivor

When you look at her,
You'd think you'd find her face under true happiness
By the way she brightens up the room with her smile
And turn your frown upside down,
Only to hear the sound of her soft sweet laughter
That you can only adore in this world of silence,
With a voice that can't be forgotten
And is listened to when hearing a beautiful melody,
By the way her head is held up high
While the sway of her hips sings beautiful musical lyrics,
But what lies under the beautiful brown skin of hers is a hurt woman
That can't find it in her heart to yell out the words of hated love
Only because shes frightened of his attack to come again
With painful memories running through her mind,
And then it happened again
He yells at her, she yells back
He back slaps her
Threw her in the room
Began to suffocate her while choking her,
Thoughts of having one more breath to take runs her mind
Then he pulls his arm back and punched her
Leaving her body black and blue, bleeding purple while her face swells up with tears
And to think that no one listens and cares
She finds that voice in her heart and begins to yell,
"He says he love me
But yet beats me
I'm sorry I never told you
But I wanna be just like you and survive too"

I'D Dream

As a child, I'd close my eyes

Dream of the day where Mr. Anonymous and I would one day meet

And when we did, we'd talk, laugh, and smile while having a good time

And I would remember the time my mom said

"Like a river, love makes a new path. If he truely lovesyou, all that would matter isyour eye"

Every word dhe told me I believe

Cause one day I opened my eyes fromthat dream

Mr. Anonymous was by my side

Telling me everything I'd love to hear in sweet tones of true love

And he's tell me while holding me gently

"Your beautiful and so are your eyes,

I love the sway of your hips when you walk

The sound of your voice plays musical tones

Your smile, I just can't resist

And your laugh, is a gift from God that words can't describe

Everything about you I love just the way it is"

And his words are true cause I'd wipe his tears away

Then the question was asked

And the day we've both been waiting for

Where we unite as one is here

And this new beginning will be sealed with a zealous kiss

Untitled

Love.. one of the four letter words that is strong
But yet is guttered out of your mouth
And captured by a faded kiss that you gave me
The eyes that I once believed was innocent
Became the wicked criminal I never thought you'd be
