Victim

Death to a once known soul
A heart torn from the beast below
Tragedy a live in the eyes of fire
Rage sets off their desires.
Broken face to you unknown
Life is lived now all alone.
Fear believed to be alive
The body has yet to die.
My blood has surfaced into sight,
Forbidden demons struck that night.
Walls of courage began to break,
Foundation of my strength the demons take.
Sick visions seen when I try to rest
Night after night a demon's nest.
To live another day to see,
Their reasons are unbeknownst to me.
Sick thoughts of three demon's deaths
Is what now my mind and soul possess.

Created You For Me To Love

Sometimes at night, when I look to the sky...
I start thinking of you, and ask myself why?

Why do I love you? I think and I smile,
Because I know the list could run on for miles.

The whisper of your voice, the warmth of your touch
So many things, make me love you so much.

The way you support me, and help with my emotions
The way you care, and show such devotion.

The way you kiss me, feels me with desire
How you hold me like the warmth from a blazing fire.

The way I feel when you're by my side,
A sense of completion, and over-flowing pride.

The dreams, that I dream they all involve you.
The possibilities I see, and the things we can do.

Love me when I'm happy, and even when I'm sad.
Love me when I'm good, or when I'm oh so bad.

Love me when I'm pretty, or if my face is plain
Love me when I'm feeling well, or when I'm feeling pain.

I do believe that God above,
Created you for me to love.

He chose you from all the rest,
Because he knew I would love you best.

Nothingness

All the stars in the sky,
have fallen from above,
And rained down upon my world,
as broken pieces of love.

Here a piece, there a piece,
all about they be.
Like hope, faith, and happiness,
just broken parts of me.

I had a love once-true and strong,
up high my heart it held.
For what reasons, I know not why,
away from me it fell.

So long it's been since last I heard,
words assuring love's not lost.
I fear the worst my universe,
to the "Nothingness" is tossed

If it is to be that way,
how sad I'll truely be.
For that "Love" within my heart,
is truely the only "Love" for me.

Yes, I suppose I will survive,
somehow I always do.
But the happiness I thought we had,
must not have been, meant to have with you.

For a time, I was complete.
This love had made me whole.
Now I stand in "Nothingness"
with broken heart and soul.

What Lies Ahead

The idle words begin to take over my train of thought.
My heart and my soul believe they can never be bought.
The suttle feelings of emptiness and being alone
What lies ahead of me, in reality the fear of the unknown.
Self doubt is the enemy if I allow it to conquer myself I lose it all.
Then I'll become weak and take the final fall.
I search within for the strength and the will to fight
I can not stop believing in what I feel in my heart is right.
I must always remember what ahead of me lies
I have a strong mind, a good heart, and the will to survive.

Isn'T It Ironic

Isn't it ironic, that the hard times are what makes us who we are...
Like the spontaneous statements that ruin a whole day,
The mood swings that change us along the way.
The teary eyes and sad faces,
The wrong decisions and court cases.
The arguments and knife slashes,
The bullet wounds and car crashes.
The deathly ill, and broken hearts,
The relationships that have been torn apart.

Isn't it ironic, the little things in life that make us happy and we go far...
Like a kiss on the cheek and a sweet hug,
Somebody to tuck us in bed ,all nice and snug.
A hand to hold and a smile to share,
A fresh picked flower from somebody who cares.
The laughter you share with a friend,
A helping hand you graciously lend.
Whispers of sweet nothings in your ear,
A touch of compassion from a loved one so dear.

Isn't it ironic that the hard times make us who we are,
Isn't it ironic the little things make us happy and we go far.

Always Believe

I use to believe in fairy tales and happily ever afters,
I use to believe in dreams, love, and laughter.
As my journey through life went on and on
All my beliefs deminished, they were gone
One day I stopped, and looked all around
Didn't see anything, didn't hear one sound.
I searched within my soul, heart, and mind
The answers to how, when, and why I had to find.
I glanced up at the heavens, the heavens above
I asked the Lord what happened, what happened to love?
I turned and I stared at my past reflection
I thought, and I wondered I searched for direction.
I searched my heart, mind, and soul with such determination
The answers within was my realization
Then it dawned on me, I didn't believe
The fairy tales, and laughter were gone you see.
The dreams were said to be unrealistic
I no longer knew my own characteristics
I loked to the sky, then cleared my mind
I closed my eyes amazed to find
An open mind, puts the heart at ease
I had found the answers, my soul was pleased
I needed to forgive and forget all the bad that consumed me
To dream, love, laugh, and always believe was the kay.

Something Special

You hold in your heart something special
Something only special to you
You hold in your heart something special
Something that is dear and true
Your not sure where it comes from
Or how long it is going to stay
Sometimes you get confused
About te words it is trying to say
When you learn to believe and trust what you hear,
And you learn to have faith without any fear
You know the feelings, you feel them so strong
You'll know in your heart, you'll never be wrong.

My Dad

My Dad, the kind of Dad that every little girl would dream of...
He's loving and he's caring and understanding too.
He's always helped me with my problem until
I made it through...
That's just the beginning of the wonderful
things this man can really do.
He sat with me when I was sick
and made me smile when I was blue.
He held my hand with faith and trust,
I held his back... it was a must...
He watched me grow for fifteen years,
In happiness and gloominess even in my tears.
He wipe those tears from my eyes,
and made me smile with great surprise.
He's loving and he's caring and understanding too.
I hope I make him happy in everything I do
He's wonderful to everyone as you all have seen,
He's the kind of Dad in every little girls dreams.
I LOVE YOU, DAD

Words

Some people cry and some people die,
try the wicked ways of love
But I just keep blundering on,
by the grace of what love once was.

Every since the very first
I fell in love with you
In my heart you are the one
By"God" I know it's true

Then why my dear, does it take so long
for me to hear from you?
What occupies your time so much
To keep thoughts of me from you?

I don't know if all that's true
but I can tell you this...
Each passing day I don't hear from you
Just brings deeper lonliness.

My heart would break, yes it could
No, I can't let that be.
But your sweet words can "restore the faith"
in this love between you and me...

So write me soon my sweet love,
or consequences there will be
A broken heart I'll surely have
attributed all to thee.

My Fate

There's come a time in this life,
When true love's been realized.
That one and only true soul-mate
Has appeared before my eyes.

When first I saw your lovely face,
I was taken by surprise.
For I fell just like a ton of bricks
in your gaze-so mesmerized.

Your beauty is so radiant,
Your persona so refined.
I can't believe you looked at me,
not even wined or dined.

In you there are so many things,
I so cherish and adore.
And with each and every virtue
I love you all the more.

Within my heart and soul my love
you occupy a space.
From moment one thru the end of time,
will forever be your place.

I truly am thankful
extremely grateful too;
for never in all my dreams
Did I imagine finding you.

So know that I won't falter'
Nor will I hesitate;
To ask you to share my life
For I know you are my fate!
