Happy Birthday Angel Beth

Another year has passed us by
The holidays gone too
Happy Birthday Angel Beth
Today you're 22
We had a party don't you know
And it was all for you
Your cake had a soccer ball
And your picture was on it too
Even though your dad left us
One thing remains the same
The boys still call you sister
When they speak your name
To them a sister you'll always be
No matter where they are
When we're in doubt, we just look up
You are our shining star
So Happy Birthday angel Beth
From all of us to you
Dance like no ones watching

Until the End of Time

You've made me happy in so many ways
You brighten up even the darkest of days
Your love I know without a doubt
Will be with me until my life runs out
Our days are numbered, we know this is true
I'm so thankful to spend mine with you
I'll love you babe, until the end of time
For that's exactly how long you'll be mine

I Know You'Re Up There

I know you're up there somewhere
Watching over me
But I'd give anything
If you were here for me to see
I know this isn't possible
And there's no way this could be
But this aching in my heart
Just gets the best of me
Even though you aren't my daughter
I love you just the same
I felt the loss of a child too
The day the angels came
There are so many things
Throughout each day
That remind me of you
A thought, a song, a memory
Just to name a few
I miss your smile, our little talks
That twinkle in your eye
The way you'd say "I love you too"
Before you'd say good-bye
Your bubbly disposition
And the love for life you had
Were taken from us way too soon
This breaks my heart so bad
Most days I'm really lost
And don't know what to do
Nothing is the same here without our little Boo
Country Concert, Cumberland or shopping at the mall
Christmas vacation in Florida
Didn't we have a ball
These are such wonderful memories
Thank you for them all
They decorate our home
In pictures on the wall
The things we've done the times we've shared
Are so vivid in my mind
And that's where they'll remaind
Until the end of time
There's a void in my heart
Much bigger than the sky
That seems to keep on growing
As the days go by
Some say time will ease the pain
But I'm not sure it's true
Each night I cry myself to sleep
And wake up feeling blue
I ask the lord for guidence
To face another day
And ease this aching in my heart
And help me find my way
I pray someday I'll understand
Whay things like this take place
But I'd give anything right now
To see your smiling face

Life With You

You've given me something money can't buy
And I'll cherish it until the day I die
You've taught me to love, and given me the will to live
You've given me more than life itself could give
My heart is on fire like never before
Each day we live I love you more
There's so much to do, so many things to say
There aren't enough hours in one single day
Life with you is so special to me
Why can't life last an eternity

Another year has come and gone
And I'm still really blue
Not a single day goes by
That I don't think of you
Everything is so different
Everything except the pain
It still tears at my heart
Everytime I hear your name
I miss you more each passing day

We could ask why for another 20 years
Sometimes we still do through our laughter and tears
Our little princess we all love so dear
Has been taken from us yet you still feel so near
It's hard most times to understand
This is another part of his plan
There certainly must have been some distress
For him to take our little princess
You've been an angel from the start
One little smile and you stoled everyones heart
Gone is your wit, your caring, all the fun
These memories we will cherish 
Until our time has come
We know you are in a much better place
But we miss your smile and beautiful face
The joy you've given will forever remain in our hearts
Until like you, from this world we depart
So until that day just between you and me
We will be patiently waiting to join you "sweet pea"

I Hate You

I hate you for what you've done to me
You have no clue but others see
You hurt me way down to my soul
My spirit is broken, I'm no longer whole
I go through the motions day after day
This is my life since you walked away
You never looked back you just moved on
One day you were here and the next you were gone
You caught me totally by surprise
You had nothing to say, not even good-bye
You've come between me and my family
I hate you for what you've done to me

It seems like only yesturday
We were so in love
Nothing could get in our way
We had the world on a silver platter
We had it made nothing else mattered
But now you're gone
We rarely mention your name
Everything is so different
Nothing is the same
You walked out of my life
With nothing to say

You Don'T Realize

You don't realize how much you need someone
Until they're just not there
I sit and wonder why you're gone
And if you ever really cared
I reminisce on the times we've had
Remembering the good
Not dwelling on the bad
I'll remember those times 
Even though you're gone
My love for you still lingers on
I pray for us each night and day
Praying that there might be a way
That we will again find each other
And until then you don't find another
I pray that maybe someday
We'll both be back together
And our love be so much stronger
And our life be even better

You Already Knew

Life is short and so very precious
So how could you let 
An outsider come between us
He wasn't the person I thought him to be
I can't understand you 
Having anything to do with him
After what he had done to me
He broke my heart but you didn't care
That he just walked out 
And left me standing there
I wonder how you would feel
Had it been you
By the way you acted
It seems you already knew
That he was leaving
Even though I had no clue
He'd never be back
Did you know that too?
This must be why
It was no surprise to you
