Super endless powers woman
Phenomenal take over the globe woman
Round the clock 24/7 woman

Heels to high to walk woman
Picture perfect Mrs. Cleaver woman
Stop watch reset clock woman

Who do I admire who do I thank who do I applaud…mirrored womAn

Enhanced senses of Keller, determination of Earhart
Flawed, realness, heart of Hepburn and Monroe
True beauty icons not pimped on billboards
Fight of Susan B. Anthony, outspoken voice of Rosa Parks
Strength of Laila Ali, heartfelt hands of AKeys, eloquence of Maya

Release Him, Memory of Uchy

Release Him (memory of Uchy)

BORO's 6 foot angel son father brother friend cuzzzz
sweet devil
lay to rest
red white blue
you know boricua style
at it's best
corners blocks towns cities
OUR WORLD won't be the same
whispers pounding echoes of your name
OLD PARTNERS
of the blazin rough ridin drinkin game
call the mayor or even the prezzz
Uchi Way Uchi Ave Uchi Court Uchi Road Uchi Boulevard Uchi Street
drive by
blastin fist pumpin head bobbin
ESTA LOCAAAAAAAA
not skippin a beat
BORO'S 6 foot angel son father brother friend cuzzz
sweet devil
lay to rest
red white blue
you know boricua style
at it's best

Me

“Beautiful smile”
eyes engulfed steals the crowd
“thank you”
fakest pageant voice presidential smile

beautiful smile ???
do you see what i see
hear what i hear
touch the glass
taste the bitter
feel the burden

“Strength of a Goddess, how does she do it” ?
“how do i do it”?
pillar of confidence indestructible cape

“how do i do it” ???
fatigue slug body
heavy eyelids
pumping throbbing brain
racing
maze finish line…
crumbling pillar
endless clouds of smoke
residue of hope

“She was, so
Amazing Phenomenal, etc. etc…
Heads shake bow down
catch tears

light a candle
pass the hope

Tribute

Tribute

Arts is a necessity
the air we breathe
i said Arts is a necessity
the air we need to breathe
please feel free
when i am no longer a being
in this thing we pronounce L I F E
enclosed in my coffin...
splash some vibrant colors on my coffin
graffiti it up dance around my coffin
tribe to tribe
sing tunes of r&b, rock, jazz, metal, punk
and don't forget the blues on my coffin
spit some rhythm and rhymes, rhymes and rhythm
and beats of hip hop on my coffin
drumsticks and bass
wake up my soul the blood in my veins
hang a dali portrait on my coffin
8x10 of james dean
leave musical notes piano keys
pressed by alicia keys on my coffin
from the splish splash of vibrant colors grafitti
singin and dancin hip-hop-in
instruments chimin
art hangin actors blinkin...
i don't need to be a being
in this thing we pronounce L I F E
i breathe in
the necessity of The Arts
which keeps my heart beatin
enclosed in my coffin

Jsystem

jsystem

you try
hummer beamer
white collar job
picket fence home
adulteries and mistresses
to strip me of pride
years of knuckle fighting
to have it by my side
badge hangs on a chain
cell keys close to your fingertips
badge reflects sin i attempt to reach for hope
blinded cursed
beat down
i try to cope
stretching for the end of the rope
attached to my kids
from my heart and sould
you aim to rid
loneliness fear i thought i hid
choose one key pandora's box
labels stigmas prejudices hate
attack me
predator to predator
lifeless motionless bait
i wait
of human rights i don't rate
will you still try
your fake fascade
crooked smile tainted touch of cell keys
to strip my pride
years of knuckle fighting
to have it by my side

Part Iii

my man jack
keeps me focused
always on track

no matter
how tight

to skip
shake my hip
soft beso to my lip
did i fall for your mack?
thought jack
had my back
fu** it…
take this
first aid kit

The Heart

The Heart

racing insane tick tock
rack your brain fist beating insane
a tool machine
in your body
soul purpose
pump blood
to breathe to live
for life

instead
it’s feeding my soul
not tablespoons teaspoons but mouthfuls
of

butterfly kisses
love songs
hand in hand quivers
birds of Arecibo
rebirth of senses
whispers of mi princesa

foreign gourmet appetite
feels divine
to digest
I need crave body pulsates
for more

butterfly kisses
love songs
hand in hand quivers
birds of Arecibo
rebirth of senses
whispers of mi princesa

keep feeding my soul

Battle

“Battle”

black skyline shades tripped out heels
staggered buzz u mistake for swagger through your high
u turn the corner
i turn the block eyes pumped open timbs tied tight
pushing subway cars and b-line trains
this ain’t Chutes and Ladders or Monopoly
your ass is Sorry mind Boggled out in Candy land
u turn the corner I turn the block with…
suburban land through flower beds
inner city behind bare trees…
my mouth
perfected picket fence 2 car garage
rundown no fence buzzed in…
my mouth
chromed keys and rims valet parking
repo man coming incognito parking…
my mouth
u turn the corner fall down in shame from the spin
i turn the block eyes pumped open timbs tied tight
pushing subway cars and b-line trains
stepping over you a pillar of rhythm no shame
with…my mouth
