The Red Rose Declines

The red rose declines in the cruelty of time
gentle sunsets fade in the midst
from barely lonely skies,
silver streams die.

What of those days of sweet bliss
the tunes of a symphonic kiss
my soul miss,
and orbs of light are close

in search of emerald nights
the stalks of white ghosts
creeping softly upon shades of grey
the touch of deadly strokes.

Visions of slanted monsoons,
and flawless white pearl moons
hanging above the tides
 those opalescent hues of fire.

Fall flaming chariots of deliverance
oceans a glint
billows glistening
in gloaming of earth's tint.

The mystery of the quiet still
shards of glass scattered
across the twilight atmosphere
diamond coated tears.

Sublime, jet stream geyzers
and star night gazers
infuse scientific minds
like eagles soar high.

The beautiful water lily flower,
the Japanese iris,
 red bark cypress
                                                                                                                         22

there traced divine knowledge.

The minerals of the soil,
and treasures of spoil
the naked eye, though it be
finite will see.

Yet seasons come swiftly
Autumn, Summer, Fall, and Spring,
but still the red rose declines
in the cruelty of time.

Beauty In a Summer Breeze

Swallowed in dreams of bliss
sunsets, berry kisses
endless, silk spread skies
ignites still visions.

The strands of your tresses
flow like henna falls
tingling, sweet caresses
burning ember walls.

Your lips, like honey
exude sweetness
as a dream lover's dream
I fall resistless.

Soft whispers pant to find your ear
delicate, drifting, lingering near;
speechless, like crafts of gold lines
silver moon, rise!

Trapped within a muse,
conversing- secrets stolen.
Water blue rain drops
on your form in the open.

Every thought becomes a stage
thinking of your face
your movements sequences
with every pace.

I saw you last in May
though every day
the outfits you wore,
mesmerized, I need you more.

Beauty within your eyes
sweetly defies
eludes my mind
like visions in a summer breeze-
my heart rises.

I would steal polyanthus,
and lay beds of jasmine
on wings of passion,
my strong attraction;

if to allure you,
come and see
I want to liberate your heart,
and each vacant need.

I search the depths of you,
like oceans, emotions whirl
shades of affection
as souls fly, my essence-

entwined within your style
sapphires at your feet
sweet smile, Nerfertiti, mine
her eyelids on streams.

Chiaroscuro, form, light
like poetic lines
your shadow in the haze
pantomime in lies.

Her finger tips drip elegance
in the moonlight mist
every inch of her hips
like jewels of skies aglint.

She is delicate as a lily,
flawless as a pearl
in sea blue threads of tapestry
which colors my world.

Cruel Gaze

You see me by the cruel gaze
your finger stroke tantalize
my thoughts like flames
pain deep within.
Blind to the signs of chaos
constricted of breath
a thousand voices pause
lips dripping with death.
No tears for the lonely
myopic in scope, minds
intent on trickery only, hope
desperation, death notes
by rote inscribed.
There is no respite, the lies
eyes of the shadows
assassins' vows
the clash of destinies sanguine;
black grins, white phantoms
fail of reasons, demons of laughter
tones sharp in the air
Destroy me! Destroy me!, they stare-
I smile, each face of stone
confined within a labyrinth
each breath shallower than before
still give me more.
One breath from eternity
befalls the jeweled sky
silver moons, red sunsets
sweet beauty defies.
Escape i must
this secret touch
subliminal streams of dreams
abut these ties, love crimes-
I pierce the distance
sun kiss sapphires,
and visions of indigo seas
in autumn, a late breeze.
They die away
enemies of my soul
the still of a purple haze
inverse of a cruel gaze.

Farrewell To Pristine Auroras

I bid farewell to pristine auroras
upon the backdrop of a still clear sky
Venus rising from the distance,
the harbinger of light and shadow.
Intricate shades of pink sprawled
across the arhed span
like strands beneath a canopy white pavilion.
My nascent thoughts heckling within
yesterdays lingered aimlessly in the wind.
I muse, the sounds of flickering embers
ascend like orangey chariots
amid the chilled winter solstice.
Lucid crystalline firmaments,
enigmatic spheres, pierce snowy-capped
billows, as red nights glare through open space.
I sense the storm of illusions,
sweltering mirages, a barage of hail
on aromatic nightfalls of December months,
breathless, scintillating, enthralled;
I gaze by the ocean's bay.
O slumbering moon that lies on the sable
atmosphere, your bright beams athwart
the brazen tides;
tell me where the crescent precipice leads,
though heaven's brow suspended
upon this nothingness, emptiness thereof.
I bath in seas of pearls.
Sapphire stars of clustering formations
flaring bejeweled constellations
among ceaseless mysteries, algorithms
as space and time.
Immortal realms of reams in the deep
shapeless rays of color,
and a thousand spinning pulsars
divide by atract rings of motion
as I bid farewell to pristine auroras.

Tears of the Ocean

In footsteps of the moonlight
slow gait my elusive dreams
skies, deep derided jewels spewing crimson
agaze, adrift, and alluring.
Death of beauty, fading silhouette
if oceans, white blossoms across ocean tides
steal phatoms of sea night horizons
when the moon is climbing gently,
when the moon is climbing in the shadows
and the eyelids of dawn
take flight at sunrise
depart my soul of flames.

Love Falls

Her beauty was captivating
sweet of heart, flustered
within shades of hazel
searching still luster.

She seemed adrift the tides
vacant stare of sadness,
walking love lorn shadows
on mystic nights.

She was perfect
the other half of me
pertinent as sunlight shafts
on a summer breeze.

Late nights talking
turning from passion to pain,
passing moments walking
under drizzles of rain.

Her skin, caramel candy brown
eyes of desert sands
Latin, sultry- always around,
yet often sad.

Still, conversing to steal a smile
with intent of soul
I nourished the broken rose
as she these cries.

Every word fr her mouth
poured like diamonds
fire bird rising... skies!
ellicited love ballads;

crimes of the heart,
and kiss sealed ballades
In the dark.

I stare at moonlit streams,
agaze the still of autumn
thinking of her tonight
in shades of beauty.
