Barbara Stump Poem
waters flow freely, thou breath besides me
ribbons of life live, as I gaze beneath
upon which I dream, standing there peace heals
smooth taste of freshness, tranquil time reveals
love beckons era, thou passion mine will
come with me thou love, flow freely with me
ribbon our dream life, passionately be
visions of era, upon freshness breathe
my breast to your chest, to gaze upon thee
my will see thou come, my garment undone
laces of ribbon, lay now in the sun
tan tones my lover, uncover in gold
dreams upon our dreams, love flows to behold

Barbara Stump Poem
VERSE ONE:When the times get so weary and the days seem so long.
When the night owl sits in the trees.
When the silence is louder than the clock that is ticking.
I want someone I can trust to stand, yes, to stand by me.
CHORUS:
Stand by me, Dear Friend, stand by me, when I am weary.
When the night moon is shining down on me.
When the quiet starts to ring and wakes the night birds in the distance.
I want my friend, yes my friend, to stand by me.
VERSE TWO: When my time is approaching, and my sight is dimming.
When my light is falling down on me.
When I look in the distance and the angels are coming.
I want my friend, yes my friend to stand by me.

Barbara Stump Poem
VERSE ONE :
You are my rock Lord, you are my shield.
When strongholds are defenseless,
I will never give Lord, I will never yield.
When burdens come crashing down upon me tonight,
I'll run to my Savior's side.
He'll cover me quickly, with his armour of goodness and light.
CHORUS:
You are my rock Lord, with you I can stand.
When the burdens are too heavy, I'll grab unto your hand.
When the trials of life start to make me fall.
I'll run to your armour of goodness, so I can stand tall.
VERSE TWO:
You are my rock Lord, you are my shield.
When the enemy surrounds me, it is your strength I feel.
I'll drawl all your courage, during the battle in need.
I'll then win in victory.
Because you are the King of Kings and you fought next to me.

Barbara Stump Poem
VERSE ONE:
Glory to the highest, the angel choir sings with glee.
For the King of Kings has saved my soul, he has set me free.
I have overcome the battle and I will join the jubilee.
For the mighty King of Glory,Died on the cross, for you and me.
CHORUS:
Come join the angel choir, sing with jubilee.
Come raise your hands and praise the Father.
He died on the cross for you and me.
We will join the choir together. up in heaven we will sing.
We will stand by the angels and sing hallehujah over there.
For on the cross it was our sin ,he took upon himself to bare.
VERSE:
Glory in the highest, sing infront of the Savior's throne.
Gather with the glorious angelband,Jesus took our sins for his own.
Up in heaven a mansion is waiting, for us to call our home.
All we have to do is claim him and our soul will never walk alone.

Barbara Stump Poem
Across the fields of dark green hills, my mind flows gently free.
I close my eyes to my suprise, to see what I can see.
The flows of ripples upon the grass, as the blades lay down and part just for me,
as above my head grows a beautiful, abundant apple tree, fruit ready to eat.
I close my eyes to my suprise, a market place is there.
I do declaire, I can see bubbles everywhere...
Colors fly before beautiful children's eyes, while
mommies and daddies shop without a care.
Never to hear the cry," missing child!," to wonder " is it mine?
Across the fields of dark green hills, with peace, my mind flows gently free.
I'll close my eyes to my suprise, to see what I can see.
Two lovers standing there kissing, quite nicely, I must add.
They are not young, why they are 90 years old!
Love still exists, for this I am certainly glad.
I'll close my eyes, one more time to see what I can see.
Peace in my heart, peace in my mind, the world what possibilities.
Across the hills of dark green fields, my mnd flows gently free.
I'll close my eyes to my suprise to see what I can see.
I see one world full of people.
No sadness, no starvation, no homelessness, no pain, no sickness,
no hopelessness, no murders, etc., everybody happy and have what they need.
" I know, but I can dream can't I?"

Barbara Stump Poem
as the burdens bend me down, like the faded petals of a rose
as the path of this weary life grows sharper as I go
I will praise you Lord, I will still praise you like each day I always do
I will always look to the sky to see if there is a rose there, blooming thru
tho I am weary, I will praise you even more
I will raise my hands higher and higher, where I can touch the waters of heaven's shore
I'll shake hands with the elders, then run to find you for your light shines bright
when I do I'll fall on my knees, then lift my hands high, for I have found you in heaven,
thru the roses in the sky
as trialed years has worn me down, like the leaves discolored and fallen to the ground
and the winds of trouble tried to cover me deep
I'll just raise my hands higher, even tho I am too tired, to make a sound
In my heart you still heard me and seen my hands raised
oh, so high and thank you God, you are always there to listen to me
for I know you are near me because I can see the beautiful roses thru Heaven in the sky

Barbara Stump Poem
through the bareness of the golden horizon I see
sitting upon the vast mountain tops as I gaze over east
it touches the relm of the most deepest purple sky
as the night begins to descends by and by
the houses begin to turn their lights on
dusk begins to bid good-night to yonder song
quite times for families once more, while
the younger children kneel beside their bed saying prayers on the floor
the night beckons the owls to hosts songs of love
as the night birds start to coo
peepers chirps their melodies in trees from above
while day birds, already nested for the night, knowing it is time to sleep too
through this time the night winds blow
as the stars begin to shine for us to see
then at once a few decide to shoot across the Northern sky
as I lowered my sleepy glace, I noticed, like me,
a lonely traveler stopped to watch them swish by, with a silent, wishful plea

Barbara Stump Poem
a wisp of a whispered word, really felt or really heard?
a quiet being of softness meaning, the sound of love preserved
thru the tender night of love, when hours spent, yours and mine
passion built. stopped the time. to endlessness of the night
passion so strong, lasted so long, you became mine
whispered words of love so kind, gentleness, our bodies combined
together, we moved in softness, wisp in motionless sound
flowed together, around and around, passion, oh what passion
words of love, gently spoke, stroke after stroke you let love flow
you showed me what gentle love can show, such passion, oh, such passion
passion so strong, my heart did sing, enraptured, captured from your love to me
with quiet being of softness showed meaning, of full passion
the sound of your love thru the night, will forever be preserved in my heart
and every wisp of the whispered love, from your heart, will ever be inside of me
for...I felt you, my love, I felt you

Barbara Stump Poem
the autumn smells of home awakens me
the leaves of brown are fallen from the trees
the sights are all around me, now I see
as I walk the hills so free
the farmlands vastly are alive to me
I'm home to walk the hills and see
the animals make nests to sleep
warm thru winter's snow to keep
the smells of freshly baked pies
hams, eggs, breads, fruit arrive
from harvest blessings before my eyes
of hardwork done from summer time
blankets, sheets, rugs out on the lines
washed and dryed just in time
quilts to air out, clean and fresh
before the winter, for the beds to dress
autumn jobs, more or less
busiest times at our best
autumn awakens farmers,
before the snowy winter's rest
before the snowy winter's rest...

Barbara Stump Poem
just the thought of you leaves me breathless
to a whisper at night
I lay here waiting for the sight of your car lights
wondering will you approach my bedside
and come beside me to lay
breathless, so restless, come without delay
I hear a car approaching and I run to the window to see
is it you my darling, coming this night to me
I am breathless, to a whisper, bearly unable to speak
looking, hoping behind curtains
While I am standing behind taking a peak
My heart is beating faster for I feel someone behind me
I knew I heard a cae door, but nobody was seen
But I feel a movement like, wonderful warmth down my neck,
as he starts to caress me
as we both now are breathless,so breathless, for
this kiss seems like eternity as....our breath passes between
which leaves me...
breathless.
