Party's Over

After all the fussing, fighting and talking
Up all night, with these floors I've been walking
You come in late once again last night
It looks like you had a real good time
Guess I'm 'bout to ruin a real good day
Party's over I've got somethin' to say
Yeah, I'm gone for good now get outta my way
There ain't nothin' you can do to make me stay
Don't try to stop me now I gotta go
But just in case you didn't know
How can you expect me to love you
When, darlin', you know I can't trust you
Baby, love can't live on alibies
Didn't your mama teach you not to lie
Guess I ruined a real good day
Party's over I got somethin' to say
Yeah, I'm gone for good now get outta my way
There ain't nothin' you can do to make me stay
Don't try to stop me now I gotta go
But just in case you raelly didn'tknow
I know all about your pretty little friends
And I'm sick to death of lies that never end
I guess I ruined a real good day
Party's over now I got somethin' to say
Yeah, I'm gone for good this time get outta my way
And there ain't a thang you can do to make me stay
Baby, someday when you're sober
Maybe you'll regret it but for now the party's over

Still

So frustrated
Bitter and hurt
Searching for answers
The key to make it work
With every little beat
My heart breaks even more
With every uncertain breath
I grow even more unsure
You loved me once
I'd swear it was so
Your love for me now gone
Lost somewhere along the road
Can we find our way back
Has the feeling gone for good
Dont' you know I'd change things
If only I thought I could
You're so very distant
Almost never, do we touch
You know, I can't remember ever
Wanting anyone quite so much
Can we turn back time
Rewind the clock, so to speak
Bring back all those feelings
You once felt for me
My soul, so very shattered
Battered, beaten and worn
A bruised and broken heart
Dying, lying, scattered and torn
Aching to the core
Yearning to the bone
Shamelessly mourning
The loss of what once was known
Why is our laughter
Replaced by bitter tears
This love, once so amazing
Then brought down with hidden fears
Forever hoping with the dawn
Your heart will, again, be mine
Praying to wake from this nightmare
To find our 'once upon a time'
Do you feel the pain
As it echoes off these walls
Do you ache with longing
Or feel nothing for me at all
Is this just my imagination
Conjuring fears that need not be,
Is it just too much to hope for
That you still be in love with me
No answers to these questions
So unsure of how you feel
Yet with all these uncertainies
I'm certain I love you still

Mere Existance

Questions running rampant
Foremost in my mind
Needing reassurance
Security I just can't find
Lost in the confusion
As chaos reigns supreme
So hopeful yet uncertian
When nothing's as it seems
The comfort of your arms
Again, wrapped 'round me
Right now, could ease these worries
Make theses fears cease to be
I looked into the darkness
But nothing, could I find
Praying every second
Not one, did I let slip by
This quest looms so unending
Seems, forever, I've searched in vain
With all emotions failing
Conquered by the pain
I used to know the answers
To these questions in my mind
No doubts, nor fears, nor worries
Never one, could I find
But somewhere along loves journey
My faith did surely wane
I know only that I must find it
Or live, forever, with this pain
I need your love to guide me
To shield me from the cost
If only you could help me
In this search for what was lost
i fear the price we both would pay
If, at this task, I fail
Would, surely, be our hearts
Forever lost in hell
An agony beyond endurance
A pain too deep to bear
Left soulless in the wake
Screaming with despair
All alone in misery
Ever after, our souls are tainted
Stained by all the memories
That, together, we created
As empty arms grow desperate
And our hollow eyes fail to see
the bitter fear and anger
As it creeps up on you and me
Both, smothered by the pain
Discouraged by the distance
Always reaching for one last chance
Our love, fighting, for mere existance.....
