Death of a Love One

I had a wonderful day, what could have went wrong
Went to sleep feeling like a brand new man
Laying in bed, sleeping so peacefully
Two guys walked in unexpectedly
They said wake up, no hesitation
Ten bullets in my back, no explanation
Was this a dream I’m gonna wake up from
No its not, I’m a completely dead man
Why me? Answer my question
I had a family and other love ones.
Now I’m gone, but memory lives on
How about you where do you stand?

Life

I always wonder why the world is round
I keep thinking that it’s a merry go-round

It’s full of surprises, good ones and bad
Why life is this way, that’s so sad.

People pretend, but who really knows
They become pretenders, perfect for the show

Today we live; money is the way to go
Is that all that’s important, you’d think so

I listen keenly to some people I know
It’s just ridiculous the things they glow

I consider myself crazy, most people would say so
In some cases lucky, the way to go!

Gone

They took him away, I don’t understand
He was wrongly accused, I’m taking the stand
They said he was bad, was that all they could say?
He was actually good; isn’t that a shame
He suffered badly; can’t believe he didn’t won
Ten years in prison, now this is wrong
He payed the price, can you live with that?
Keep questioning yourself, did he take that shot?
They said life is too short, I’m disagreeing with that
I think life is unfair and that’s a fact.
