3,000 Miles Separate Fate

There you were
Just a blur
In the spur
Of the moment

A spontaneous rush
Of flushed confusion
An overwhelming lasting impression

This brief encounter
Bringing two strangers
A precious and a joyous sensibility
That's all too serene to be fiction

Effervescent euphoria
Permeates its way through the senses
Infiltrating effortlessly

Why did you have to go
And get on that plane

Now you're never coming home

Piercing Eyes

The way that her eyes
Focus deep within
As if you're staring right into my soul
Knowing each and everything about me
Without having asked the questions

I want to freeze this moment in time
Just to keep it ours forever
We've achieved the ultimate endeavor
Now we are truly free

The way that you dance and you move
To the rhythm
The way that you close your eyes
When you're feeling the music
Oh, just to stand there and observe you being you
I get so completely lost in this moment

It must have been those piercing eyes

Everything that I do now
Is just an attempt to get the pure ecstasy
That I felt the first night we ever met
The nervousness that I had that first night
Was almost unbearable

The way that you speak your mind
And you care what no one else thinks
You had a style all your own
Unlike anyone else that I've ever met
Could ever duplicate
We will work through the toughest of times together
No there's nothing
No nothing
That could ever stop us

Love will save our souls

Morbid Irony

While I lay here
Staring my fate
Square into obscurity
Left with nothing but promises
Of forgotten grandeur

Leaving behind epic depths
Of visions
Illusions
Confusions, beyond credibility

A string of events one could not forsee
Refusal to uphold unrealistic
And idealistic states of abstraction

Thus bringing us lucid and coherent
Understandings of the truth
Perhaps revealing consummate contentment
No more resentments
Of past discontentment
These vast extents of torments
Preventing one from ascending
Into unending bliss
Where the unmerciful bind you
Overextending
Subdued

Something To Hide

As he steps outside
To go about his day
There's an artificial smile
That she currently displays

The risque array of fabrications
Indicate love fades away
Portraying someone that you're not
Can't turn back as deceit's underway
Leading her quickly astray
With the foul-play that's conveyed

How can she begin
To look him in the eyes
And try to rely on the lies she's supplied
Not abiding by rules
No matter how hard she tried

There's no upside to this
So promptly decide
That these classified actions
Can't be brushed aside
Misguiding all judgments
Now set to collide

Into altercations
Due to pent-up frustrations
The ramifications
Of all her temptations
Is internalization combined
With desolation and desynchronization
Leaving all that you know unaligned

Cause For Concern

Your psychological state
Is deflating you straight
Into irrelevance
At an astounding rate

Awaiting for you
To create these irate
Collection of interrelating debates

Negating the fact
That you cannot retract
Nor subtract
The impacts of your exact
Overreactions that always distract
Which can flare-up abruptly
And detach what's intact

Now by not letting up
You corrupt and disrupt
Any developments made
Every time you erupt

I'm inclined to remind you
That your narrow mind's due
To pursue other avenues
If you so choose
You cannot undo
What you've said that's untrue
Are you beginning to seek love anew
With no regard to your lover's point of view
By wanting to have
A slew of rendezvous

Live Free

When you look deep into my eyes
Tell me what do you see
Am I the man that you claim is your destiny

Illustrate a picture for me in your mind
Of where you see us in five, ten, or even twenty years

Are you still with me

At long last an unsurpassed feeling must outlast
Thoughts of you put the mind at ease
Allowing me to live free

Blue-green waters
Sea so fierce
Distant winds whispering nonchalantly
Amongst the serene breeze
Waves becoming increasingly rapid
Clashing, Creating colossal waves

Gazing at the infinite horizon
Amazed by its spectacular openness
So vast and seemingly unending

This right here is paradise

The sublime feeling of the cool sand beneath your feet
Take a deep breath
It smells like absolute freedom
Watching the skies turn from blue to orange
Colors shifting ever so slowly

Darkness Enclosing

Thrust into a nightmare
That will never let you go
So please don't try to run and hide
You know that I reside inside

Have you ever felt this vicious hate
Finding it difficult for you to eliminate
All these temporary states of rage
You've tried so desperately hard
To keep locked in their cage

These uncontrollable outbursts
Will only get worse
Is this making you feel
Like you're going to burst

Like a curse that extends
Beyond your wildest dreams
The extremely seductive
And supreme being

But now I fiend for the chances
Of hearing you scream
Is it possible for you
To understand what I mean

When I say that fear and malice
Have become your friends
Confirming your damnation
All the way up to the end

For me to administer
These sinister thoughts
In your brain
I drain the pain
From your veins
But to you it's the same

Now you claim that my game
Is what made you insane
But that's lame
Don't blame all your shame
On the things you became

Remember
I am just an illusion
That is created by using
All the effects of seclusion
In this so called delusion

I am taking you down without making a sound
This breakdown has been running you up into the ground

Your head's spinning faster and faster
As time seems to stand still
A subliminal mind trip
Refusing free will

My magic spell
Has got itself twisted around you
And you have no idea
What the hell you should do

So just sit back
And let yourself try to unwind
And find out how
I took control of your mind

Releasing the beast
Enraging the fire
I will not retire
Until you expire

Absolutely Captivating

The way she entered
Instantaneously stunning everyone in the room
Putting a hex on anyone in her path
Her bright eyes illuminate the room
A fresh perfume certainly intoxicating
As these whispers begin to stir
As this wondrous beauties extravagance
Radiates so much energy
Elevating a curious interest
She mingles ever-so graciously
Quite exquisite
Yet almost seeming coy
She seems to be overdue for a real conversation
Due to her immense beauty
All of these delinquent amateurs waste her time
On pointless pick up lines
Maybe next time
You should exercise some civilized behavior
And you just may romanticize

Slightly Askew

Lately it appears
As if something is missing
That spark's not quite there
Have you started dismissing
By becoming increasingly distant

Are you growing immune
At an inopportune moment
Unfortunate events
Are now putting dents
Causing you to lament
All the time that's been spent
Your abandonment issues
Manifest malcontent
Presenting the case
That resent will torment

It's odd
Your demeanor is this incomplete
Are their things going on
That have led to deceit

There's an unwanted tension
That isn't so sweet
Not to mention the way
You mistreat then repeat
Please don't allow love to become obsolete

Betrayal Revealed

A man living out his life
So completely content
Until there was a reason
For him to resent
Everything he thought he knew
He didn't even have a clue
That she was fooling around with another man
Ruining his master plan

Something in his mind
Now must have snapped
Due to witnessing
This hapless mis-hap

Quietly watching
In total despair
With her not even knowing
That he's even there

Refraining from yelling
And being obscene
No,
He'll play the routine
So completely serene

But when they got home
The games had begun
If your catching the drift
This will not be fun

Decisions corrupted
By disgust and mistrust
Readjusting agendas
Just because of her lust

His urge has emerged
And now he's on the verge
Of releasing the rage
That once was submerged
