Perception

The grass is always greener on the other side: says who?
It may just be perception not necessarily the truth
Ugly is not bad neither is beautiful necessarily good
It may be just perception
You see my son with wisdom you will begin to see in between the lines,
Of seemingly complex issues.
Thinking a river is shallow might be wrong perception.
In times of trouble never be in a hurry to take decisions just like the wrong, misconception of a river being shallow.
In the same vein don’t hurry to jump into every matter with your mouth first,
It is a foolish act.
You see when the spirit man is well fed you perceive differently
Eureka! You begin to see opportunities everywhere.
Impossibilities become impossible.
How dangerous it is for a man to use the binoculars of-
flesh to view the supposedly greener grass on the other side
All that glitters is not gold as the saying goes,
Even in the spiritual Satan parades himself as an angel of light.
Perceive rightly and you are in for bliss
For wise choices and decisions will always be profitable
So what rules your sight?
What do you see?
Are you optimistic?
Who are your friends?
These we ponder over as we journey the earth
Heaven or Hell bound are all destinations
Heavenly supernatural perception remains king in this fallen world
The only recipe to win the battles of life
Even as we bask in the glory of Jehovah
Shalom

Love Letter

My love where have you gone
I have been searching for you
It is unbelievable you just left
You have been unfair to love
Come back my love Let us disappear to a land of bliss
Where we can express our feelings in kisses and hugs
Where my stare can express powerful passion to your soul
Let’s travel to Islands of romance in Hawaii or may be Seychelles in Africa
Islands of blue waters and exotic plants
Island of nutritious exquisite dishes of salads
My tears yearn for you even as it is sheared for your sake
It is love that makes me yearn for you
Come back my love so my heart could beat again
I look forward to your return, as my heart is expectant
Like the blue sky and aroma from the spices of Persia so is our love
                     I love you Danielle
My expression in words will always be my expression in actions
                           Kisses and Hugs

Life On a Pause

Destiny never announces to us our place of arrival
The streets, countries or cities
Sometimes our journey is by circumstance
Other times it is divine
At thirty eight years old
I was still looking for Mr direction
I was still in the smoky mushy atmosphere of confusion
Until I stepped out by the invitation of Mr self confidence
Ahhhhh I need to tell you the story
Things I discovered
You are alone in this world and so many people we call friends are just acquaintances
Some don’t even qualify as acquaintances
Talk about money please don’t go there
It’s a situation for excuses
But you learn and you grow up
You learn to choose friends wisely
You grow up to soak up the motions
You also grow up to follow your heart in all issues
I sometimes regret relationship mistakes
But it gave me relationship wisdom
Needy, emotionally disturbed women are dangerous
They are time wasters and destiny killers
Being single is as challenging as being married
And none is bad
If you are still single enjoy every bit of it
And if you are married carry your cross and don’t complain
Life is a journey
I stepped out yeah I did
And am loving it
Loving it on the way to my beautiful destination
A destination created by wisdom and plenty knowledge
From all of life mistakes
All the time Jesus was always cheering me on
Go you can make it
Get off the floor is not your place
Get up move
Do what you love to do
You can make it
Oh Jesus I love you so
Jesus never criticised me
When everyone trampled on me Jesus always comforted
The greatest friend in the world, also my comforter
Same friend is the one that always leads me to all truth
      Hmmm my beautiful destination
Am almost there
When you fall down make sure you pick something
I contemplated suicide once now I just laugh
Because its foolishness
There is nothing new everything you are going through has happened before
Every challenge has a solution
Yes, I have been in that lonely hopeless place
Where I thought life has ended
But guess what; it just started
The wisdom and lessons you learn
Illumines the darkness in your life
And suddenly you now have direction
And you know exactly what to do with your life
It’s called discovering your purpose
When you arrive here people don’t push you around anymore
Or give you stupid pieces of advice
Please put on a smile and some dancing shoes and turn on that switch
Put some light in your life
For fun people are living people
And living people are attracted to living people
Enjoy your life
The screws are still intact
Shalom.

Soul Death

From hell shrivelled hands and voices in the chilly night make appearance
Hand and voices of evil ugly gory demons
Evil that torments the soul day and night
This is the story of Arusha
Arusha the woman possessed by legion
Legion of demons
Demons of promiscuity and self destruct
Powerful destruct that engages the soul
Her soul is in the grip of the power of darkness
Darkness a sanctum of hell
Oh Arusha how hell has swallowed your soul
Arusha’s soul has become a battle ground
I feel pity for Arusha as she often lets out demonic shrills
Shrills that sends chills down my spine
Remember the evil hands and voices of torment
Its torment called insanity
Insanity without cure
Arusha now is now a companion of cocaine
Cocaine I am sure you know it
Its Satan’s concoction of dementia
Concoction that destroys the soul men
Men become slaves to the voices and hands of hell
As they seek the thrill of gothic
A potently evil thrill that kills the soul
Sending the soul to eternal damnation
The story of Arusha ended in suicide
Suicide is a deceptive medicine for tormented souls
I wept for Arusha
Senseless weeping: it was too late
I was mortified when I discovered her lifeless body
A body once full of life
A soul so beautiful
Her soul is now eternally damned
In peace may you rest Arusha

Lifes Journey

Funny how life experiences twist you
You are not yourself any more
Because your mind is twisted
Your personality becomes a shadow of itself
Other times it might make you a better you
Funny how you don’t trust anymore
Because of a betrayal
Betrayal from a close friend or family member
It’s called the fruits from life’s journey
You see no one can tell which bat life is going to swing
Or where life is going to take us to
Never mind that some experiences is an outcome of our stupidity
Even silly mistakes
Some say its destiny
Yeah no two destinies are identical
Love don’t come easy
Sometimes we pay with broken hearts and divorces
Others not so lucky never find love
Some even pay with their lives
You see you never learn how to manage money till you are bankrupt
And you have bills to pay
For the wise they learn and for they foolish they continue on the path of destruction
I wish we can tell tomorrow
Or when evil is lurking around the corner
But sadly no one can tell
Life has beaten some people down to the point of submission
This people go into shock when they get their first new car or some other material stuff
Some others have received enough rejection to last a life time
But love has some strange way of coming to us
Life has its ups and downs
So when it’s raining use your umbrella of hope
And believe that Jehovah will come through for you
And when the sun of success is shining
Bask in it in praise and worship to Jehovah
For in His presence is fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore at His right hand
Life is sweet don’t complicate it
That’s why suicide is foolishness
For there is nothing new under the sun
What you are experiencing or going through
Is kindergarten suffering for others
And you arrogant one your salary is someone else’s tithe
So what’s the pride for
In this world we all shall have tribulation
So says my Saviour Jesus Christ
I can’t tell and no one can what tribulation will come your way
But one thing am sure is that Jesus has overcome
So cheer up

Gods Valentines Song

I remember it was a cold morning
There was down pour of rain the previous day
It was still drizzling a bit
It was an airy morning very quiet
Remember the smell of rain
Very fresh morning
For the first time in a long while
I remembered my wife Lucinda
We had been estranged
That morning all I thought of was the cross
The forgiveness of all my sins by Jesus
That day I made up my mind to forgive Lucinda
Forgiveness for adultery
It was the fourteenth day of February
What a coincidence with Valentine’s Day
I drove to Lucinda’s house
I could hear my heart beating
Out of anxiety of how she will receive me
Our separation was quite nasty
At her door I fidgeted with the bell
Lucinda was speechless when she saw me
We didn’t speak a word to one another
I hugged her in an embrace that was like eternity
We still didn’t speak but we knew what we were saying to one another
My heart reached out to her, like the father and his prodigal son
Lucinda was my high school sweet heart
When we got home
Lucinda’s heart and my heart had a dialogue
I had forgiven her totally
Forgiveness the gift of love
Love that covers multitude of sins, casting out every fear
I made dinner that night, dished it out and washed the dishes afterwards
We didn’t have much money but we celebrated love with what we love
Especially with the gift of ourselves
Lucinda knew I was a dry man
So she warmed the atmosphere with some scented candles
And Peabo Bryson music
There was no more quarrel but tranquillity
It was romance at its best
I gave Lucy a gift and her eyes lighted up with surprise
That night we privately exchanged our vows again
Hmmmmm it was a happy day, night, hour, second
Thank you Jesus
My home was restored again on Valentine’s Day
Lucinda broke the silence
When she looked at me and in a love coated voice
She said to me I love you my boo
My heart leaped, as I responded with tears in my eye and emotion laden voice: I know
 Jehovah is indeed love
And he still performs miracles
It is good to let go of hurts and embrace reconciliation, I said in my thoughts
Thinking of all that had happened
Forgiveness begins with self and ends with the recipient of mercy
God still sings and still speaks even on valentines day
Lets listen and we will surely hear

Gods House of Grace

A place saints gather to give thanks and praise to Jehovah
Where we all look unto our maker for answers to life challenges
We gather corporately on Sundays to honour the Sabbath day
Do you frown at sinners in the assembly?
Don’t you know Jesus never casts anyone away?
For it was because of sinners He came on a journey to the earth
Reconciling us back to the father of all Spirits
The perfect Love that casts out all fear
What sin are you involved in or have you committed?
Has sin or guilt kept you away from God?
Think again and don’t let the devil steal from you twice
God hates the sin but not the sinner
Jesus waits for you patiently
Preparing a huge banquet for you
Like the prodigal son
His mercies are forever new every morning
Again I ask what is the sin or guilt that keeps you away from God
Jehovah’s love for us is unimaginable
For his Love covers multitude of sins
Confess them: Repent of them
Remember He casts them into the sea of forgetfulness
Hear me! You who have categorized yourself as one that does not merit Gods love
Even I myself doesn’t merit Gods love
Are we not all sinners?
I might have even been a chief sinner just like Apostle Paul
Who persecuted Christians thinking it was the work of God
The Lord is inviting you today; back to His house
Back to the assembly of His saints
Waste no more time my friend
Weep if you have to, pray if you have to, but after you are done
Step out with a Jesus swag
Swaging right back into the ever opened arms of Jesus
Our Loving and merciful father. Heaven awaits you
Selah

Jesus Is the Answer

Jeff
Born to reverend Stevens
On a cool Monday morning
It drizzled a little bit
Very beautiful weather
Jeff was the finest of all babies
In my neighborhood Jeff was an example
Example of good Christian character
Until he became plagued
Plagued with the prodigal son syndrome
Jeff became sorrow to the mother
A disgrace to his family
The father was grief stricken
Jeff had abandoned the ways of the Lord
Jeff was on the highway to hell
Enjoyed the company of prostitutes
Even the bottles feared him
He was an alien at home
Jeff was uncontrollable
Very wild
Reverend Stevens prayed
Midnight prayers
Often tossed and turned while sleeping
 Reverend Stevens often found
Seated in the front porch of his house
Staring into space
Its sorrow speaking voice of a broken heart
Jeff’s mother prayed
And often wept quietly
The musings of grief
The solemn prayer of a mother
She was in agony
Like Virgin Mary
On the day Christ was crucified
Poor humans
We can only pray
But we can’t determine when the answer will come
Just like Saul on the way to Damascus
Jeff was as usual on his way
Again to a prostitute very drunk
The still small voice called out to Him
Jeff! Jeff! Jeff
Perplexed by the audibility of the voice
Jeff sobered up
He shouted who is it?
All of a sudden the urge for the strange woman became strange even the bottles died.
He turned and went home
That night Jeff wept
Just like a baby
He realized it was an encounter with Jesus
The answer to the prayers of
The Reverend and Mrs.
Years had passed
But they were grateful
Every one noticed the change in Jeff
The reverend, mother and neighborhood
Jesus truly saves
He is the way the truth and the life.
Forever faithful.
Praise be to God.

An Ode For Cecil

Cecil the king of the jungle
How are the mighty fallen
Tributes have come in from all around the world
From the animal and human kingdom
Oh cecil
See the way you were killed
Like a common criminal
Humans forgot you are a king
Oh Cecil! Oh Cecil!
We weep and mourn for you
Vividly I remember when you strode this earth like a colossus
Your fame cut across all continents of the world
As far as even the Sambisa forest of Nigeria, Africa
We have all roared, not in joy but in weeping
I am confused now for it seems humans have become more
Callous than we of the animal kingdom
You will never be forgotten Cecil,
Your death shall be a cause for justice
We shall continue to fight for animal rights just like humans fight for human rights
Rest in peace my friend and confidant Cecil until when we shall meet again
My name remains Zambo the great lioness of Africa
I end this sad song with a heavy heart.
Zambian jungle weep no more but don’t forget Cecil
Good bye Cecil the great King

Comfort of the Holy Spirit

I remember
It was the passing on of my father
The world stopped
I wept till tears blurred my vision
It was so intense I fell asleep with a headache
Nothing and no one could console me
People prayed with and for me
My heart pounded so hard with grief
I thought I will die myself
In the cool of the night
In serenity with in coherent musings
My friend and comforter
Overwhelmed me with love
He even led me to the truth
I began to understand the mystery of death
From this wretched earth to eternal peace and glory
A blissful mystery only the spiritually
Wealthy can understand
Spirit of God full of love we humans can’t understand
My first heart break was just like my fathers passing on
My heart physically ached
My tears where like ice block
I wondered if there is anything like true love
I meditated on death
Hoping I will transit to the world beyond
The pain was unbearable
I lost trust for mankind
Nights, midnights, I cried to sleep
I wished I could make the pain vanish
Just like removing my jacket
I was messed up emotionally
Love became sour
At that point I could have been recruited by Satan for destruction of souls
But Gods spirit restrained me
And wrapped me in His everlasting love and comfort
The balm of Gilead healed me and took me
Through the process of regeneration
Oh Holy Spirit
Your comfort and love who
Can know the depth
For you are a generous friend and lover and comforter
Thank you Holy Spirit.
