Its too hard to decide which is worse,
The pain and agony of the hits and bruises,
Or the pain and agony of being betrayed by someone trusted.
Seeing the face, torn with rage,
Haunting in the nightmares of sleepless nights.
Closing up, never opening up,
Its too hard to trust anyone now.
For the fear of being betrayed and hurt again is too much to bear.
The person that is supposed to be there,
The person trusted by all,
Is now the enemy.
A personal enemy to one.
To one who is too afraid to confront all theses fears.
For the fear of more pain and agony is to great,
The fear consumes and tears away at the life once lived.
The life longed to live again.
But the hope that there is someone out there,
Someone that wont betray.
Someone that cant be trusted, and take all the pain away.

I look into her hazel eyes and see everything that lies beneath.
I see all her happiness and all her pain.
The secrets that she shares only with me.
Secrets that bring her both joy and sadness.
I see her pain and wish that I could feel it for her.
I see her hazel eyes water and shed tears
As I kiss her tears away.
I hold her in my arms, sure to never let anything harm her.
I make sure to never let her go.
She tells me that she never will.
She looks at me with her hazels eyes,
Showing me how much she loves me.
Her eyes tell so much,
And so much that I wish to know.
Knowing that in time I will know everything.
Until then all I can do is protect her.
Hold her in my arms, kiss her soft lips
And stare into her beautiful hazel eyes.

How can you tell when everything is changing?
When people you once knew leave?
When the ones you trusted in betray you?
When you become afraid to walk through that front door?
When you cant sleep at night cause of the nightmares about that monster?
The monster that lives down the hall
How are you supposed to know when enough is enough?
What are you supposed to do?
And why do you keep blaming yourself?

I never thought my broken heart would heal
But then you came along and took all my fears.
trusted in you, and haven’t looked back once
It has not’t been that long, but that never mattered
You changed the way I look at things,
You made me a better person
I look at my life and see that only one thing is missing
I long to see your face, to hold you in my arms
To hear your voice and tell you how much I love you
Others don’t understand the decision I made
But I know in my heart that this is right
This isn’t like what I had before,
But it doesn’t matter
What I had is gone
What I have is you
I know not to let this go
Trying to hold on tight
I just hope that you feel the same way
I close my eyes and see your face
I fall asleep thinking about what we said
And anticipating to hear from you again.
I feel my whole world crashing around me,
But thinking of you keeps me going.
Knowing that someone cares keeps me alive,
Keeps me going so I can be there for you.
I know that I’m not perfect and I never will be,
But when I’m with you that doesn’t matter.
Because you and I are perfect together
I love you, and I promise to never let you go.

Thoughts of you consumes my head,
Your face flashes through all day and night.
I replay your words over and over,
As I long to be with you again.
Miles separate us,
But nothing can keep us apart.
My heart races at just the thought of you,
As the fear of losing you haunts me.
The fear that I may never be good enough,
But just one look into your eyes takes away all of my fears.
Just one look from you is all I need to know,
To know that you love me just as much.
You don’t even have to say it,
I already know.
You show me you love me with so much more than words.
I try to express just how much you mean to me,
I feel that I cant say it enough.
I long to feel your touch,
When I hold you in my arms everything is right.
There is no place I’d rather be than right here with you,
You feel perfect here with me.
You showed me the meaning of true love,
And that this will never end.
