Not Home Yet

As stroll along life's road,
many hours more to be hold.
                                                    Many more hours have gone,
mayb finding us right or wrong, weak or strong.
                                                     Climbing many a mountain,
                                                     passing many a fountain.
                                                     Traveling through the valley,
neither stopping long, or dilly dally.
A thought should we stroll with,
one of so much truth it can not be myth.
A truth to take along the way,
one that has us guard all we do and say.
So either on a car, bus, plane or jet,
remeber to fix you eyes to the sky, we aren't home yet.

Return To the Start

Take an minute and let me explain,
I want to hit your heart not just your brain.
There comes that point in one's life,
brings one to face joy and strife.
At that crossroad,
carrying doubt's heavy load.
It's time to re-energize the heart,
time to return to the start.

Remember back when,
your new life began.
All old has departed,
a healing of the broken hearted.
Time goes and you grow,
the more days with Him the more you know.

The cold world out your window-sill,
can't snatch you from His will.
Closely you indentify with His cross,
for your eternal life his life was lost.

So take time in the past,
to wade through memories vast.
Til you find the One,
the time you accepted His Son.
It's time to re-energize your heart,
time to return to the start.

Is It Normal Yet

The Pres. is making grand stride,
and fellow Americans show grand pride.
But some doubt lingers in the remains,
can troops grab evil by the reigns.
Or maybe put them in a nuse,
but for now they remain on the loose.
Planes may return to the sky,
with engines roaring, but not louder than the cry.
With much loose to count as net,
is it normal yet.

Tell me will it ever be,
a nation where all again feel free.
As a christian I pray those men repent,
for soon the free nations by our side will vent.
As those flying many an airing jet,
tell please tell me is it normal yet.

For waiting to call on God this is our regret,
for He alone can punish those who brought this debt.
While realizing some are angry some fret,
can you; will you tell me it is noraml yet

What Is Life

Starting at the time of birth,
begins the years or precious worth.
As an infant starts to crawl,
exploring everthying from door to wall.
Then growing older still,
learning right and wrong to shape the will.
Entering those teen years,
going through blood, sweat and tears.
Becoming an adult,
enduring the confussion assault.

All along the path,
who guides giving comfort in times of wrath.
For those never knowing the Son,
when life throws punches you be undone.
Yet for those who do,
can be protected by the One who is true.

Approaching closer to the grave,
what of your possessions can you save.
So admist the good and strife,
do know the One who can answer what is life.

Walking Down Here Alone

After 24 years of strife,
in this series of goods and bad called life.

Waking up every morning,
facing every new day.
To work sojourning,
in much the same way.

Even in the crowd,
I wonder sometimes.
If no one hears my inwards screams so loud,
or is just all mixed up in rhymes.

Lord, how much longer must I dwell,
caught in this life to and fro.
Feeling sometimes like I drowning in a well,
seeking the way to go.

Then I think of the Cross,
all the anquish on my behalf you felt.
This helps me no feel such loss,
my helplessness does melt.

Atlast I finally come to the place,
that I can face life's bitter tone.
And while walking at pace,
Lord stay with me so not walking down here alone.

Will I Ever

Will I ever
if I take a change never
these chains of failed relationships sever.
                                      Complete my education endeavor,
Walk away more complete and clever.

Fullfill my life and no more quiver,
or in this cold cruel world shiver.

Spin in circle and stop wherever
See an end to war forever
End up with God and cry never
                                                  Will I ever
