Remember When You Said You Wouldnt

Remember when you said you wouldn’t lie to me?
Remember when you said you wouldn’t ever make me feel like I did not matter.
When you said that I would never have to write a negative poem about you?
When you said that I was your one and only and that we would stay together?
When you laid there next to me and told me I’m your baby and you love me?
And the time you sung that song to me; nearly cried to me; fought for me?
What happened to all those things that you said to me?
So we move to a different part of town; things have to change now?
I told you not to hurt me.
Remember when you said you wouldn’t do that either?
Ha, well, you did.
So how will you fix it?

Forever and For Always

I hold you close to me every day and every night. The love that I have for you has no ending. I love laying on your chest nights and kissing your lips every morning. I love saying that I love you, and hearing you say it back. I love all the little things about you. Every part of you, mind, body, and soul. You are my best friend, and my lover. My soul mate and not even death can do us part my love. For I am forever with you.
