Sarah Judd Poem
Come and visit me in a dream,
And tell me how you are,
Are you floating on a cloud?
Have you found the brightest star?
I know you're with us somewhere,
Even though you can't be seen,
Painting the bluest sky,
Or among the grass so green.
As I'm wandering through the park,
Looking up at the trees,
Daydreaming of the joy you brought,
Will you visit me please?
Just send me a little sign,
White feathers on the breeze,
To let me know you're happy, free
And put my mind at ease.
Or ask a passing stranger,
With twinkling brown eyes,
A cheeky smile, and baldy head,
To nod as he passes by.
Or maybe play a special song,
Loud, on my radio,
That could have been written just for you,
About all the love we've known.
Come visit me in a dream,
And tell me how you are,
I know you're there, a floating cloud,
And one of the brightest stars.

Sarah Judd Poem
Your colours were so bright,
But you didn't flaunt them like a peacock,
Crowing for attention.
You knew you already had everyone around you captivated.
Your wings were so fragile,
But we could never have known it,
Because you were so strong.
Invincible.
In a flutter you were gone,
Leaving only memories of the beauty,
The wonder,
You brought into all our lives
Like a butterfly
Now, although you are gone,
You still go wherever you please and you please wherever you go.
A floating jewel more radiant, glorious than before.
Your wings are no longer tethered,
The flower that once bloomed is now free,
Flying with angelic grace.
Your vivid colours live on,
Even though you've left our garden behind,
In sorrow,
But still blooming from your presence.
Like a butterfly.
Our loss is heaven's gain,
And you have now become something more wonderful.
An angel,
Whose beating wings still dance.
Like a butterfly.
