Virtual Love

That`s a problem:
I`ve been caught again in love`s nets.
And I don`t know
what you want and what are your aims.
You say your love
                           is eternal, great and boundless.
Are you honest
or just one more cruel lovelace?

If it`s all false,
I`ll stop loving you, my dear.
I`ll forget you
in a day or in a year.
I won`t miss you,
if it`s wrong and I have no right
To be you, yours
and to dream of having your heart.

I do need you.
And I need good luck. More chances!
Is it all true?
The bright screen won`t give the answer.
You are charming.
You say you don`t want to quarrel.
I don`t want to
fall into the sea of sorrow.

Mausoleum

For you our love was neither strong nor real
But I had both wild fears and odd hopes.
And now in my soul there's a mausoleum,
It's a remembrance of the joy we lost.

How can I bury all those golden feelings
That you woke up in my heart? Though they died
It seems as if they were alive and breathing.
How can I write them off? I do not understand.

There is a cold and gloomy mausoleum
That is inside of me and that is simply me.
Let people call me stubborn, odd or silly -
For me your fake love oath was like a wedding ring.

Scoldin Myself, Hating Myself

Scolding myself, hating myself,
I have to go on. What else is left?
Did you love me? I don`t know.
I said “farewell” and you let me go.
If you just played, then it`s all right.
I went away and it was my right.
I fell in love. It was my fault.
But if you loved me, why did you stop?

You Said I Love You and I Am Sad

You said “I love you” and I`m sad.
I feel unhappy, lost and worried.
For I can`t really understand
If I should take all this for granted.

I am alone. It doesn`t hurt me.
So please, stop hurting me with your words.
How should I know they aren`t a curtain
To hide some lie. Scared to be yours.

Love Is You

It`s a bird.
Look at it.
It is me.
Not a tomtit,
Not a bullfinch.
I`m a Sirin.
Count my wings.
Do you see?
Do you see?
There are three,
Three white wings.
Look at me.
It`s a mask,
Not a face.
Do not touch.
I will tell
You a tale
About Punch.
It is true.
It`s my fate.
It`s not false.
This old tale
Is a blade.
Let us toss
Who should stab
This sharp blade
Into me.
On your lap
Is a bird.
Do you see?
I am scratching
                         your hand and your arm
With my sharp claws
                          and pecking your palm.
I`m not singing
                          about love. I`m mute.
`Cause for me now
                           love means only you.

Take a Gun

Take a gun, give it to me
And just teach to pull the trigger.
My chimeras will be free
And my life will be a fee
For their happiness and freedom.

Give me arms and get away!
I won`t fail to hit my target.
Am I Hatter or White Rabbit?
It`ll be a banner day.

Bang! The kiss is quick and hot.
Feeling steel lips of the bullet…
And my heart is slowly cooling.
Don`t you think it`s a good shot?

Should I ask for their mercy?
Must I cast my pearls before swine
Just in order to feel cozy?
No, I`m quarrelsome and noisy.
I am greedy. The pearls are mine.

Bang! It`s all the same for me now
Who will read and write my nonsense.
Why can`t I once make a great row?
Let me speak aloud. You know how
Much I wish it… Just read my poems.

I Shall Put a Maple Leaf On Your Soft Palm

I’ll put a maple leaf on your soft palm.
And when the train arrives, I’ll kiss you gently.
My careless angel, you are leaving now.
“Bear up,” I’ll say as usual, “Don’t forget me”.

I cannot give you all the things you need.
I am a person you can just rely on.
Sometimes I may be too reserved and strict.
But does it mean I’m made of steel or iron?

The purple leaf is gleaming in your hand.
There’re no words of love before we part.
But I am sure that you’ll understand
It’s not the leaf I’ve given you but my heart.

The Doll Has Been Collected

The doll has been collected
And she is on the shelf.
Her pure soul is empty
And one can`t hear her breath.

There is a rusty needle
In the doll`s gentle heart.
And this heart`s slowly bleeding.
But nobody sees that.

The doll will keep on smiling,
Her eyes are like bright stars.
She is alive but dying
Because of whom she loves.

The Game Is Over

The game is over, I'm so sorry.
I am to write another story…

Why Is It So Painful

Why is it so painful
To love you with all my heart?
I stop being careful
When you tell me what you want.

Why will my blood be up
Every time your passionate lips
Kiss me? Isn`t it enough
That I`ve become weak in the knees?

Your hot pepper-like love
Can really make me burn.
But why are you so tough?
Oh, no, don`t leave me alone.
