In darkened shadows,
Lies in wait,
My blacked soul,
Bound in chains,
I lie in blood,
Running from my veins,
Upon the stone,
That lies beneath,
My broken body,
Bruised and twisted,
And then I wake,
This is my future,
This my fate,
This is to come,
It lies in wait,
Sure as Death,
This will come,
It is said,
It is done,
These are my nightmares,
That make me scream,
These are the dreams,
A tortured soul does dream,

Jonathan Draven Poem
Here I sit and visit with the demons of my past,
They claw and bite at my mind until it cannot last,
They tear me apart mind and soul,
Draining my life away by the bowl,
I hear my screams echo in the dark,
The hounds of Hell howl and bark,
They feed upon my flesh for fun,
Until my life is over and done,
Then I wake in a cold sweat,
finding it was but a dream so I need not fret,
I lay there awake with my arms around you,
My sweet angel who loves me true,
I stroke your cheek and kiss your lips,
And now the balance of power tips,
My dream terrors fade away into the night,
And I know that all is right,
The demons were but a creation of my mind,
Doubts of myself trying to find,
I leave none within their wake,
Having thoughts of you in their place,
My heart is yours do not doubt,
My love is yous on sweet account,
Of love and peace youv'e given me,
For your love my heart does bleed,
With our love we can make it through,
Any obstacle in front of me and you,
So stand by my side proud and tall,
Know that I will never let you fall,
You aremy love,
You are my queen,
Rest assured,
You are my everything
