No Emotion

This girl shows no emotion and never really did as
a kid, she knows what will happen if she
lets people in,
As a baby her father walked away, he told her he'd
be back every single day,
Not once did he come to show her he cared, so the girl
hid her emotions to pretend they weren't there,
Showing her emotions lets people bring her down, so she
lets no one in and walks with a frown,
She is very grateful for what she does have, but expressing
herself to others is hard because of that,
The damage he has done has turned her this way, she
wishes she could let people in and feel o.k.

Scars

The scars that are in bedded in her skin, are the
scars she made to justify her sins,
When people see them they say it was for attention,
but the way she sees it was a cry for redemption,
They are dark with anger and deep with pain, people
don't know they all are not sane,
Their always thinking it was a horrible way to deal, but
she felt different because they didn't no what to feel,
No one gets better with others negative thoughts, they
just get worse and become not a lot.

That One Person

There's dark times as you grow older but for one person it feels like it's their whole
life, people get through them but this one person can't seem to fight,
As the darkness eats at her soul she becomes less and less the happy girl we use to know,
So she hides from the shadows and cry's in the night, how can you help her when you don't
know her fright,
As you watch her cry and not know what to say, you begin to feel like you abandoned her in
every way,
Then that one day comes and you realize what to do, just comfort her and show her your
gonna help her on the way through.

Keeping It Inside

It's very difficult to tell the one person you need how you feel, because you just bottle
it up and put on a seal,
You can't help but keep it to yourself and pretend you don't feel, it works out better
because then its not real,
Wishing he could understand would be to much to ask, because he doesn't have a parent that
he lacks,
Explaining your feelings would be a waste of time , because he will never know how it can
crush you inside,
So keeping it to yourself seems like the right way for it to be, why tell him when he just
can't see.

The Wheels

Wheels in her mind turn left and right, they twist
and turn while controlling her sight,
If one wheel stopped working then her body would
to, she would become nothing and that just
wouldn't do,
So she functions them correctly to make sure she doesn't
mess something up, till one day she thought of her
maker and put one wheel in a strut,
It fell from the others into the dark and the girl stopped
working from the loss of that part.

No Way Out

Stuck in the world with no way to get out, left all
alone all by yourself,
Sadness builds and swallows you whole, shatters
your heat and picks at your soul,
Darkness erupts and covers all you know, leaving
you with nothing but a heart made of coal,
Emptiness fills you as your feelings burst, this is
nothing you thought you would see first,
No one to help subside these feelings of deception, left
with nothing to guide you in the right direction,
The end has come with no way out, so you bow your
head because you know what it's all about.

Not Seen

Standing in the mirror you see your complexion, as
people walk by with no recollection,
You look all around at the place you call home, to find
things of others things you don't own,
You go to the living room to see a family of three, as they
sit by the fire and watch t.v,
You stand in front of them and ask whats going on, but
they don't hear you when finally you realize your gone,
Not remembering how it happened you dig deep inside,
when a vision pops up and you see yourself cry,
Now you remember how it all ended, you died from a broken
heart that couldn't be mended.
