Ignorance Is Bliss For Some

The piano cried
The curtains turned their backs
The windows slammed
Refusing the wind to come in
All while the bonsai stood motionless
Apathetic to what was happening
The wind blew harder and harder
The windows stood as guards
Willing to lay down their mortal lives
He doesn't deserve you
You're too good for him
He's too weak to be your lover
Whispers of revolting loathing
Against the innocent wind
All watched as he cracked
Including the bonsai, who disregarded him
And went to console the piano
I understand now Mother
How feeble and pathetic the wind is
She murmured with a reassuring smile
I'll forget the winds very being

Woman Down

The ocean cringed
Its body being violated
Over and over again
Nobody stopped it, only watched
With eyes filled with a disgusting lust
The ocean closed her eyes
And endured the pain
It was necessary
In trade, she'll go back to paradise
Every day, looking at her sky
The sky with curious brown eyes
And wonderful blonde hair
One violator fills her with trash
The next extinguishes a cigarette
On her already bruised body
But she endures it
Knowing better days are coming

True Love

Love is a form of emotion
It's smooth, like a graceful motion
It's hard to hide
All emotion had died
This stoic face and emotionless heart
It was all painted, like a piece of art
Now that art is gone, washed away with the rain
I can breathe now, my heart no longer in pain
