World of My Dreams

Its time to build a new society.
This world will be full of people the last didn't deserve,
a world that together we can protect and conserve.
There will be no weapons testing,
love is the only thing worth investing.
A world free of crime,
where children can feel safe at bedtime.
There will be no such thing as the boogie-man,
no one getting rich from the rediculous price of an oil can.
We will grow our own food,
useless commodities will no longer be valued.
This is the world of my dreams,
a world that will never exsist or so it seems.

Goodbye

I remember the day you never knocked on my door,
so i sat and waited on my bedroom floor.
But the next day you still didnt show,
my youthful soul hit an all time low.
When we were together nothing would stand in our way,
for hours we would stay outside and play.
A few more days went by,
I knocked your door and got no reply.

I seen your sister, she said you were sick,
I wished you well, she told me you wouldn't be well all that quick.
My mum took me the hospital to see you,
you looked terrible but i knew it was not the flu.
This was the day i found out you had Leukemia.

You battled it for years,
when i think of your pain, i have to battle back the tears.
Your strength and will showing no bounds,
beating it twice like armies on ancient battle grounds.
You always knew that it would win,
some people say that you gave in.
But i knew you hadn't you had just met your end,
your body had lost its will to defend.
When you told me your plan to end it all,
my world began to shake and fall.

Now i come and sit at your grave,
realising you were so young, yet so brave.
I just stand there feeling hollow,
In my own self pity I sit and wallow.
I miss you so much,
my world is so much darker without your touch.
Goodbye my freind....

Sams World

We live in one world,
which together we must help build.
A future not just for us,
but for future hands,
to sculpt better plans.

This world seems to turn so fast,
sending our future towards the past.
Every dream and thought can never last,
the fate of us all is already cast.

The future, its not real,
just a word we say but never feel.
Peel back the layers and you will find,
together as one, our love,
will heal.

When will our words be heard,
all this pain is absurd.
Hate has made our minds tainted and blurred,
If we unite these people can be dettered.

Break down the wall,
Politics will fall.
They forget we put them there,
to be the voice of many.
But thus far they haven't helped any.

A Soldiers Poem

A Soldiers poem.

A bullet shatters the calm of the night.
Peoples bodies shake with fright.
Explosions making the sky so bright.
With a surge of adrenaline we stand and fight.
Standing side by side, the bravery of a knight.
I pray to you all don't forget our plight.

Imprissoned

We are all prisoners in our own homes,
held to ransom by our T.V's and phones.
Are we truly unable to communicate face to face,
or has fear and incompetence put us in our place.
I cant take it anymore,
life has become just a constant bore.
There are people out there,
but they pass each other by without a care.
Technology was supposed to make this world great,
maybe lonliness is really our fate.
I'm prepared to stand up for whats right,
so come along and join my fight.
For together were strong,
we will combat this wrong.
The world can reunite if we dont allow technology to be our plight.

Little Holidays

My favourite holiday was just a day long,
I spent it on top of a mountain.
I reached the summit where I sat and watched the sky,
hours passed the clouds drifting by.
I thought of you and i knew your watching me,
occasionally a person passes by,
but I could sit here until the day i die,
But instead i head back down feeling your presence fade, the distance between us growing.
But to me them few hours will always be a little holiday,
that i can return to everyday.

Raising Hell

As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.
The world grows colder with my every breath.
Humanity is falling apart around your feet.
Learn to love or our worlds will meet.
I will raise my armies from beneath the shadows.
Your crops will wilt while on the meadows.
I will spread death to you all.
Your cities will fall.
Only loves embrace will return me to my eternal resting place.

Lost In Thought

I sit alone in a quiet room musing.
Thinking of the things that I find confusing.
All the things I had, I seemed to be losing.
My young heart once again taking a bruising

Once again i misplaced my trust.
Confusing love with it's twin lust.

I'll pick myself up and restart my quest.
Until i find you I shan't rest.
My love and devotion to you will be my test.
If I pass our love will be blessed.

The time for thought is done.
The next step of this life has begun

Bring Them Home

This is not a war.
                                                    It makes no sense,
how can your minds be so dense.
Full coffins seem to return everyday.
it doesnt matter how much we pray.
In my opinion its so clear,
you can't fight an enemy that has no fear.
It's time for our troops to retreat,
                                            this sadness need not repeat.
                                                    Bring them home.

Bad Dreams

I had the same bad dream last night.
It always wakes me screaming with fright.
I see myself falling, yet I never die.
Because your my parachute and your love makes me fly.
Skimming over the clouds, the moon in the sky.
But you're the only thing that catches my eye.
My skin tingles with your touch.
Is it wrong to love you this much.
Love is the glue that holds us up here.
If you ever leave, for my life, I fear.
