It’s all about the game
Players just pawns in the grand design
Trying to make their way
In the journey that binds us all
Taking chances and fighting the fate
Doing your best to bloom
Making something out of nothing
And finding meaning in the shadows
Sleep the only respite
But it don’t come easy
Conscience guiding the chaos
Letting you slip through the cracks
Arranging thoughts running through your head
Listening to others but not hearing at all
Clinging on to supposed meaning
And clutching the blinkers tightly
Freedom a state of mind
Constant imagination of something better
Ignorance the only bliss
But maybe not the one to strive for
Just make the most out of it
For it’s the only chance you get
To exit with a smile of content
