Deception

Fog creeps over me
like an over grown vine.
With a suffocating strength.
I am lost wondering aimlessly
in my minds imagination.
Shapes of ghostly memories
sweep past with startling clarity.
Then in the distance a feint light
beacons to my eyes.
Closer and closer,
it draws all concentration
until its too late.
There you are burning brightly
through the murky darkness.
The tears come unbidden but
within the blink of my damp eyes
you have past behind me once again.

Winter Rose

A rose is as delicate as a snowflake.
It blossoms then wilts when it gets cold.
A single rose which lasts through the winters fire,
is a lovers chance to enhance their souls.
For if the love is true, the rose turns blue.
Of the love is not to be found,
the rose wilts onto the ground.

Full

Dancing under the full moon’s glory
Singing in wonderful disarray
Brings the spirits of life closer
From the north a strong wind grows
From the south the earth goes
From the east the water flows
From the west the fire shows
Dancing under the full moon’s glory
Singing in wonderful disarray
Brings the spirit of life together

Strength

Like Greek Fire my love burns.
Growing with the cooling rain and distance.
How like torture are my memories.
The pain and anger I try to relish in
but all that comes to the surface is the kindness,
the warm looks and passionate touches.
Time is supposed to be the key to survival
more time is needed.
Strength find me.

Future

The future is time ahead.
A day a week or a year,
it is always so near.

Above All

Above all you mean the most,
caring in your own soft way,
our trust that is ongoing
let your love take me away.
Above all you take me to places unknown
it is an adventure every day
from the fast flowing fields
to strong silent obstacles
our bonds will show
that love will always grow

Mary

She stops and stares at the people sleeping in boxes.
She stops and stares in wonder,
and the she continues past them

She stops and stares at the police who drive by.
She stops and stares and the drivers who honk and whistle .
She stops and stares at the hookers on the street,
and the she wanders on.

She stops and stares at the rundown buildings.
She stops and stares at the people in the windows.
She stops and stares at an open door,
and then she walks through it.

She stops and stares at the steps behind her.
She stops and stares at the ground six floors below.
She stops and stares at an open window,
and then she jumps through it.

They stop and stare at her fallen body.
They stop and stare at her battered face.
They stop and stare at her scars.
They stop and stare at the wounds of life,
and then they continue on.

Pale Paths

Full moon glares sullenly upon us;
spreading a pale light around sheltered lives.
Illuminating stars shine paths of pure gold;
only tread upon by the fearless souls.
Newborn sun awakes the beauty in all;
only to be gazed upon by colourful eyes
Rainbows made in wonderful disarray;
only for those who seek a clear path though the sky.

The carefree prefer to find their way through chaotic storms;
some as black as night or as clean and deadly as snow.
Forever exciting are the twisters of emotions; exotic in their own way.

Finally drawing out the powers in us.

Life

Life is nothing to abuse or acuse.
The living or the dead.
Its just according to what comes ahead.

Muse

You are my chaos.
My muse that sends my thoughts wild.
Yet my mouth made for your lips could never keep up
with the words flowing from my finger tips.
Set me free, stop capturing my heart
as well as my mind.
I am my own person as you are yours.
Two people forever intertwined
and yet so full of thorns.
Stinging each other with every move.
