The connection was instant
Our love quickly turned brilliant
We made the best young couple
For our love I am thankful
We waited to get married
Of course, only we agreed
Later a baby was born
That made his in-laws more torn
A couple more years they come
Then a marriage in the autumn
A few more years go by fast
And another child at last
So the years have flown by now
How you say? With love, that’s how
They were all completely wrong
Our love has grown the more strong

Life is but a fleeting moment in time.
Much like the splendor of a rhyme,
Full of beauty and lessons to learn
It comes and goes without concern.
When your time here, on earth, has ended,
What do you think will be said of you?
Jane Doe, 1945-2005, our dearly departed.
That is what most will read of you, it’s true.
Your life will be described as a dash.
Name, Born dash Died
Memories are for you to decide.
You never know when your day will arrive.
What will your last thoughts be?
Will your passing thoughts be happy?
Or will you be thinking, if I had only …
Or will they be sad and lonely?
Are you going to leave with regret?
Are the ones you love going to forget?
Did you find time for sunsets?
Are there dreams not dreamed yet?

Kimberly Bordeaux Poem
I am old, but mind is still young
There are books unread, songs unsung
Want to turn time’s hand back again
I just want to go way back when
I don’t regret the things I’ve done
Just want to give life one more run
This time around, do all I can
Live life according to my plan
Have fun and play with my children
Don’t feel as they are a burden
Tell everyone “I love you” more
Take long walks along the seashore
Time for more beautiful sunsets
Watch the sunrise with no regrets
Go back and live my life with fun
Live everyday as my last one
