Barb Wiste Poem
We are one and one are we, know one knows any differently. We walk, talk, and act as one,I'm myself but your a different someone.
The day we split was strange indeed, I was looking at you looking at me.
I saw all that you did and heard all that was said.
Never looking back unless you needed me to right the wrongs.
We walked the thin line and had a good time, so we thought.
We were two different people but still as one.
Your lies and crimes became mine, you started to walk a thinner line.
You played your games a little to long and hurt the people we cared about.
I tried to pull you back with me, but it only made it worse for us.
With a little help I'm back again the way it should be, I do see how having you is good for me. You keep me happy and feeling free.
I need to keep both feet planted on the ground, but I will carry you with me incase I truly need to be free.

Barb Wiste Poem
Love is such a complicated game, a perfect balance of all that's sane.
Wishful thoughts and prayers abound foolish hearts are soon to drown.
To look beyond what one holds true lies the key to what may balance you.
For you to hold my hand and speak of love, means we have balanced all the above.
Speak my name in whispers and prayers as we share this game, of balancing love.

Barb Wiste Poem
You're in my heart and in my mind.
You're my angel shinning down on me.
Your arms are golden rays of sunlight.
Your kisses will warm me one by one.
Wrap yourself around me and lift me from this darkness.
Stay with me and hold me tight.
Shelter me and make it right.
Angel of mine I need you tonight, shine on me your brightest light.

Barb Wiste Poem
Do you remember the taste of my lips on yours
Do you remember the smell of my hair as you nibbled at my neck
Do you remember the feel of my fingers as they passed down your back
Do you remember
Do you remember the goose bumps I got when you got close to me
Do you remember the giggles I had when you touched my feet
Do you remember me
I remember the taste of your lips as if it was only yesterday
I remember your fingers running down by back
I remember you nibbling at my neck
I remember
I remember The laughter we had
I remember the quiet times as we held each other tight
I remember you
Remember when we said it would never end
Remember telling me, now and forever my love
Remember
Remember when we said goodby
Remember I was trying not to cry
I remember everything and every day
I remember you and I cry, wishing for another try
Do you remember anything, did you wish or cry
For one last time I will close my eyes and pray
that you remember me being there.
Please remember me
for I remember all of you and then some.

Barb Wiste Poem
The rain keeps pouring down on me puddles of water start to suround me.
left right up down no matter where I was looking its falling down.
I walk outside all dressed in my gear ready for the rain I can hear.
Looking up way up high still nothing but rain in the sky, I think I will get wet today.
Walking slowly I decide its time to have some fun, I jump from stone to stone trying not to dip my toes. I flap my arms and wiggle my nose trying to stay up stright you know.
At last I see a tree with branches so wide it could hide me.
One last jump and I'm there hugging the tree like its my best friend.
Shaking all the water off of me, I look like a dog taking a bath, so I shake harder and laugh.
Finding a large branch I sit for a spell singing a rainy day song to myself.
Splat splat, drip drop, I look up and all around, I see the rain has ended and the sun shines down.
Down from the tree I spring so fast. Now is the time to make the best mup pies and watch them dry in the sun, theres never an end to my fun.
This is how I rember the rainy days of my youth, boy how I miss the old times.
Now all I have are my aching joints and runny nose.
What an adventure life is!

Barb Wiste Poem
My life now that your not here
The sun won’t shine into my window of life.
I hear the rain beat down on my house of tin.
Feel the cold wind blow through an empty room.
See the faded colors of the life that was.
Hear the echo’s of your laughter all around.
Turn the lights on so your shadows disappear.
Their shadows of what was mine, echo’s of past times.
Life was short and bittersweet.
Yours is over so you can sleep.
I’ve kept you in a special place, your memories are forever safe.
My love I’m yours for all of time and you shall be forever mine.

Barb Wiste Poem
I drink to live I drink to play, I drink because there is no other way.
I drink to hide then I drink some more thinking it makes me something more.
Make me a drink and be careful if you can, that's my life splashing with the ice you
carry in your hand.
I drink to only find an emptiness that fills me every time.
You wish to know me, well its to bad unless you have a drink in hand.
Remember I drink - and that is who I am.

Barb Wiste Poem
If I have to spend my life thinking, then I will spend it thinking of you.
If I have tears to cry, I'll cry them for you.
If I have to give up my wings, I'll forever walk beside you.
If I had to lose someone It would never be you.
I would never ask to be the most important person in your life, that would be asking
to much .
I ask only that from time to time you would think of me and smile, remembering how
I touched your life.
I will always have you in my mind, always till the end of time.

Barb Wiste Poem
On this day 12 years ago- I said yes to a man I knew would love me through and through.
This one is for you
Destiny, its just another word for me and you.
Life is funny how it plays you, bringing together strangers like you and me.
It was not love at first sight, but more like a curiousity I wanted to bite.
The first years were the worst, I was following my sometimes rocky destiny.
You were there holding me tight and wiping my tears without a fight.
Your love never faultered or failed, never once did you bail.
Good times and bad we have had it all, and your still here standing tall.
My love for you has fully bloomed, more then I thought I could ever give.
Destiny is what I say, for it seems to me we were always ment to be.
Thanks to the powers that be for bringing you to love me.
Thanks to my husban for twleve years of loving, always and forever.

Barb Wiste Poem
Kick me out to save my soul, watch me burn as I hit my low
My souls on fire and your the fuel
I feel like I'm caged with nothing to lose
You put me here to save me somehow
The walls are caving in on me, desperately scratching and gasping for air
I still feel you burning inside of me
Look over at me, what is it you see
I'm in the corner waiting for you, my fire is in need of your fuel
By kicking me out you locked me in, this cage will not be my end
The key to my freedom is not with you, but the key to my burning soul is your fuel
Come closer to my cage and light the match that will set me free
Blue skies and burning embers, this is the end for me
You made a cage to save me, but your fuel was my only need
Specks of dust is all that's left
your fuel is gone and so is the rest
