Shadow Maiden

I see you in my heart. You pass by like a shadow.
I never fully see your face and your smile haunts me.

I want to meet you so bad but you never stop.
Always in motion and fleeting just enough to catch my attention
during the moments when I am alone.

Occasionally, you pause long enough for me to survey you
and it makes we yearn for you.

Sometimes, you let me catch you and hold you in embrace.
Our passion is so powerful it consumes us. We are perfect.

Then, when you want to go, you do, and there is nothing I can do to hold you.

I wish you would appear and meet me. I think I wouldn't feel so alone
if you were in my life, cheering me up with just your presence.

I would treat you with love's proper attention and a hope that would propell us to
go even higher, into the infinite, where love is opened to it's fullest expanse.

I desire you so much. I just wish I could catch you.

Who are you? Why do you haunt me?
I have sought you in every woman I've ever met.
Yet, none has ever been you.

I want to stand close to you and feel our tenderness shared.
When we touch, the power of love flows through us.
It makes me hungry for you.

I've come to realize who you represent.
I just don't know where to find you.

Red Corvette

I remember being a little remote control. My chassis
was sound and I was beeping all the time. My handlers
were amused to drive me around. I was happy to please them.
It made me feel sound.

Then they took me to the track to teach me to race.
It seemed like I crashed all over the place.
Into this one and that with horrible splats.
Then they made us sleep on these crazy floor mats.

There were speeders who were so cool and fast
and I was easy enough to pass.
They laughed at me and I felt like a fool
but my handlers wanted me to be in school.
Then there were those who ran very slow
They ran like trucks with things to tow
And it seemed like I was getting bogged down too
with weights like dummy, drip-nose and pugh!

As I got bigger my engine grew
and I quit banging into you, you and you.
And occasionally, I'd stop to take a fight
and settle a score or show my might.
But mostly I went cruising about, flexing
my muscles, lettin' it all hang out!
Showing off was really a very great thrill
especially when a girl liked my shiny, chrome grill.

There were some who liked me and polished my chrome!
And I sometimes thought I should take her home.
Then there were those who lied right from their heart,
they made me feel bad and my engine wouldn't start.
It hurt bad to feel like a broken go-kart
and they didn't care if they broke my little heart.
It made me angry and I wanted revenge.
I thought of ancient powers from darkest StoneHenge.
I wanted to hurt them down deep inside but something
stopped me, I think it was pride.
They just weren't worth it somehow I knew
and I waited with grace until I met you.

You were shiny and white with chromium delight.
Colors and stripes all looking right!
I couldn't help but fall in love
with a car that resembled a spicy, love dove.

My headlights beamed and my motor purred
I couldn't stop beeping while my oil was stirred
I raced around and pulled up straight away
and said, "hello there darlin' I'm sayin hey, hey!"

You smiled and laughed and made me feel at home
and we sparkled and shined no longer alone
And I realized it was nice to be in this place with you
even though we both were no longer new.

Run For the Roses

You are the joy of my heart and my life.
Of all who are close to me
it's you that touches me
and connects in the most special way.
Simple, Pure and Great.

When I die and God opens my heart,
to reveal the things I treasure the most,
you will be there.
I can't take a breath
that doesn't love and reverence you.

You are my Thoroughbred.
The most beautiful, graceful, thoughtful and loyal.
I care enough to worry for you.

Your brightness is like the sun's rays
and your love and attention
heal and make me whole.
I'm greatly appreciative, to God,
for keeping love and kindness in your heart
and a soft spot for me.

Without you,
love might have escaped and fled me,
until I became nothing.
You give me purpose
and a life worth living.
I'm confident in your ways
and the wisdom in your head.
When I need to smile I think of you
and when I think of you,
I can fly.

There is nothing in the world
that can separate my love for you.
And there is nothing else that I'd rather keep.
I would gladly die for you in a single heartbeat,
just to keep you safe.
If I have to choose between you being safe
and me being condemned for eternity,
then you will live.

I am grateful that you love me
and I never want to be without you.
You are the embodiment of all that I love and hope for.
You are the child of my heart.

I Knew You In My Heart While You Were Growing

I knew you in my heart while you were growing
in your mother's womb. I prayed for you every
day. I never knew such a sense of love and terror
in the same breath but would grow to be accustomed
to this state of existence for the rest of my
life.
Each day I think about you and wish for you all the
good things that God will Grant you in your life
and all the desires of your heart that are good for
you and those you choose to care about.
You are my Olympian. My Champion and the Love of
my Life. I Bless God and Thank Him everyday that you
are in my life.
I would die for you, step into the pits of Hell and
burn forever for you, if it would save you in a trade
for you. Without hesitation if that is the only deal
I can get directly and only from God.
I would pursue you to the ends of the Earth to retrieve you.
I would fight anyone and any thing for your protection and well-being.
No one in the world inspires me to this much and more. I love you with all my
heart.

Red Tips On Golden Hair

When I think of you
my mind is free to think of only beautiful things.
An entire field of blossoms
Red with patches of blue and yellow,
Nature and all its beauty has to offer.
The universe and its many colors across its cosmos.
All that God has made that is beautiful.

Most of all when I think of true beauty, goodness and rightness
I think of you.
All that I can ponder.

You see, when you first appeared, your hair was golden with red tips.
You were then and are now an amazing sight to behold.
Your goodness was present then and is present still.
I loved you the moment I saw you and before.

Three weeks before you appeared a robin made its nest upon our porch.
A sign that someone good is about to appear on the earth.
I knew God would be with you always and also my heart.

I watched you grow as a person and mimic me in certain ways that delighted me.
My heart has not known a love so pure, gentle and good as yours.
You surpass your peers and all that I have ever known.
You are considerate, kind and forthright.
You guard the truth and speak it prudently.
Such caution is the outward sign of a truly great spirit.

I want to hold you and love you always.
You are the jewel of my heart.
If ever the universe chooses a ruler among women
you must be the one.
You have extraordinary judgment and maturity.
I believe you are gifted beyond all who are upon the earth
and when you act it is always with power and grace.
There are few who can claim such a gift.
And fewer who can hold on to it.
It is your first nature and intrinsic in the fabric woven by God.

Your humor is wonderful and your laugh can cure any illness.
I always want to be in your presence.
You don’t have to do anything but be present and my heart is content.

There are none like you and none to come after you.
This moment in time upon the earth is blessed because you are present.
I love you with all my heart and shall always.

Donna

In your eyes I can see, I am all your desires, cravings and aches. The obession
to which you wish to be bonded forever. And you'll gladly pay for your prize with
endless tears. I cannot deny the passion you stir in me and that pours out for you
virtually every moment that we exist and is as strong as your love and
commitment.
Your warped mind is a treasure to me. It propells you into the dark where I enjoy
your pleading. I watch your strange love of suffering and you bring me into your
soul to relish it with you. I am amazed when you do this. I think its for me but it
somehow fills you. I see that you must be with me each night and your craving is
desperate and way beyond anything normal. You cannot exist without it. You
must feed on me.
I am completely invested in you. I must have you, strenuous, throbbing and
twisting, and sometimes shrieking for my entertainment. Your gift to me. No
matter how I exercise its power, which I so enjoy, I can only own it as a gift. I do it
sometimes just so that I can make you bear it. You bear it again and again
without complaint. Because it is a gift, love can remain. And no matter what you
bear, you have solace that it is a gift from you. I can never take that away.
I experience joy when you delight in my voice and follow its flow. Can I hold you
forever?
My intense, inner desires combine with your foolish love and willingness to
become everything and anything I can delight in. I think you must be stupid to give
so much until I realize that your gift is the one I treasure. I want to hold you and
have this kiss forever. You are a feast for my senses and a slake for my thirst
which always returns. How you have given over control to me is a measure of
your soul. How I accept it and play it over and over again is a growing obsession,
that knows nothing but pleasure. I want to hold you, kiss you and taste you more
than anything else I have ever desired.
Our passion is easy for me and so hard on you. You rebound again and again
seeking even more to steady our hearts and increase our hope. Your suffering
holds you while you await the eventual tender moments that always come and
you once again drink in my love. I look at you admiring everything that you are and
desiring the moment when I can take you at will.
Please, give me your tears again.

Donna and the Dragon

I watch
as you seek the breathing dragon
with a heart of love.
Loneliness drives your images
While your heart craves connection.

You pass
letters of lonliness
to the universe
hoping for mercy.
You lost
yourself
somewhere in an ideal
that never was.

I feel
your desire
for a relationship
that would provide you
with your wishes,
as you have come
to know them.

I think
you hope for more
to be added.
Something unknown to you
but good.

The anklet
which identifies you.
The bracelets
which commit you.
And the collar of devotion
to which you aspire.
A mantle
placed upon your shoulders
signifying you are loved and watched over
and bound to a duty
contracted by your heart.

You approach
in trepidation,
seeking the strength
which demands you
To which you weaken every time
relishing your surrender.

Your heart hopes
in every known way
to live this love.
And your celebration
of womanhood
is completed in this.

There will be times
the demand will make you cry.
Sometimes from pain,
sometimes from joy.
You are more than willing
to pay the cost
You desire to do it.
You need it.

But you see,
you can only imagine
what is across the river of trials.
You don't have the courage to cross.
You don't write the invitation
to cause a man to come.
Instead you interrogate your love.

What is there in your mind
that is deliberate?
Will it acquire
what your heart desires?
How would you know?
You are lost.
Lost people seek desperate remedies.
We should all have the good sense
to reach out to the one who loves us

Instead,
you wander in circles,
discontent,
in your lonliness
and too scared to act
like a big girl.
